We picked our moho up from Coventry. Somewhere near Coventry we passed an air field museum, they have a Concorde and a Vulcan amongst others, enjoy 😉

Angles Morts badges fitted ready for our winter trip. They look horrendous.

I am trying to find my decorating tackle ready for next weeks domestic warfare after the motorhome is dropped off at the body shop.
Our son and daughter have borrowed bits to decorate there houses. So far I have found some bits in the shed and some in the loft. I seem to have three different sizes of roller handles. This afternoon I will order some bits from Screwfix , hopefully the right size rollers and collect them tomorrow. The paint can wait until Monday on our way home via B&Q.

Off to Cyprus for some warm sunshine for a few weeks, bonus is it doesn’t count re 90 day rule, as not in the Shengen area

Spending the weekend waiting for a tow truck to take me 60kms to the nearest garage.
Suffered a major oil leak.
Why do these things happen in the middle of nowhere and on a Saturday?
In the van, or your car?

As we are spending Christmas away in our van this year, I thought we had better do a dummy run of cooking the Christmas dinner in the van to gauge cooking times for our oven on the van.
Turned out alright and rather tasty, well chuffed. (y)

I re-insulated our oven/grill earlier in the year with ceramic blanket that's used to insulate small kilns, and it has vastly improved our oven's heat retention, so cooking times are now close to than of the oven in our house.

Not weekend but on Monday afternoon going down to Jasmin Farm to meet up with Van Doctor Aka Wissel for a bit of winterisation and electrics and measuring up for possible structural changes. Oh, hopefully to meet our leader Jim and his leader Sian 👍🏻👍🏻

In the van, or your car?
In the van.
The low oil pressure light came on, literally, as I was turning into an overnight parking area. When we checked the dip stick it was dry! The AA can’t find a truck big enough to tow us so they’re sending a man with 9litres of oil. He won’t be able to repair the leak but hopefully we’ll be able to get to our regular truck garage before it all drains away.
An unfortunate end to our one-month road trip … and of course, it’s raining.
