Well today im in southport for the half marathon on the motorhome car park.
Yesterday i was in Bolton doing a 100 mile bike ride around the iron man course.
Later i will be at the lake doing a 1.8 mile training swim.

Last big training week..
Total biked 220 miles
Total swim 8 miles
Total ran 32 miles.

#IRONMANUK in just two weeks time..
I may be fat and i may be 50 but never give up train hard and believe in yourself.

Stayed the night at Round Oak campsite near Maidstone. Lovely little site. Has 3 glamping tents too if friends want to join you. Best of all sell their own Hebridean beef and lamb - the latter were amazing.

Unfortunately work for me. Finishing touches to some rental properties that have come up for renewal. But off to Bridport and Upton for the music festivals over the next few weeks. Will make sure to fly the FUN banner at both.

Not away this weekend - MH in for servicing and MOT. Part needed won't be in until Monday so may get away next week if we can find something locally.

A group of us are doing some deep water kayak rescue training on Sunday with the RNLI off the NE coast. Just a shame that the weather is settled, as a bit of rough water would have been more challenging for those of us in sea kayaks.

I was hoping it would be reminiscent of my crew time with Sunderland Inshore boat back in the 90’s, when we mostly got called out in the rough stuff ?

Well it's over now, just back from Stratford river festival, had a great time in Stratford and on the racecourse, Indian cuisines at Chutneys was fabulous, thanks to wombles, emmit, for helping out with choices, that's another 'to do' off my bucket list.

We're off to Canterbury P&R for the weekend. Haven't managed to get away since we got back from France mid June so really looking forward to getting out in the MH again.
