What are you up to this weekend?

Didnt spot the sign, 10inches by 5 inches mounted at 10feet above ground (really) forbidding motorhomes even stopping in the car park
@Cheshirecat57
I'd appeal it ,especially with the height & size. Additionally if it ws the only one. If a specific class of vehicle is excluded then it is reasonable to expect it to be notified at the entrance & repeated , in large signage.

We're going to a CL at Preston (Kent, not Lancashire) as the local pub has live music on Saturday night

Hosting 4 beach volley ball players. :)

:tounge:

We have a beach just like that and are empty this weekend? Can't promise the girls though, but the beach is less crowded and we do have Waldos fish and chips

We’re at the Orchard (Haven site) at St Osyth, Essex, sites very good, as all Haven site’s, but the weather ain’t so good

Going to friend's 70th, she is wheelchair bound and in a nursng home, going for the weekend, booked B&B. (paid no refund)
Then in MMM there is a Cl less than 3 miles from the home no idea how I missed it when searching. No way I could park at the home though would be lucky to find space for a pushbike.

Just returned from a day at Llandulas beach, North Wales

Didnt spot the sign, 10inches by 5 inches mounted at 10feet above ground (really) forbidding motorhomes even stopping in the car park

Car park room for 50 vehicles
There were 35 empty spaces
£70 parking ticket attached on our return
All the reason to not stay in this country!

Had a google to see carpark sign and came across this.

If its a private parking company, the signage is insufficient to form a contract and you should appeal.

Plenty of help here

Who issued the pcn?

Off to Edinburgh for the weekend, Sister in law gave us tickets to go and see the "War Horse" at the Festival theatre. Been wanting to go for a while so looking forward to it !!

We are going to a little 5 van site at Flamborough Head ( an old favourite of ours ) Friday to Monday. I’m guessing most places will be busy being a bank holiday . But fortunately this little CL can only take 5 units . :clap2:

Down to Tenby for 5 nights this weekend, found a small campsite a 10 minute walk from the town. Will report back what the site is like upon my return.
I hope for decent weather 'cos everytime I go somewhere it bloody rains!

Back to Paris for me (well Rambouillet to be precise). I will childmind my grand son , but first of all, need to give him a big cuddle after the worry we all had.
He has no more childminder (by all means ..... hope she'll be in prison/punished by that time) and only the grannies are allowed by Steph and Nicolas , his parents, to look after him. So my go next week.
If only I could send pics... but not allowed. I might just film the sofa while he's giggling... just for you to hear how life is carrying on for the wee lad!

Hope you have a lovely weekend @yodeli and your little grandson continues to go from strength to strength . Most of all that the person who did such a terrible thing is punished and never allowed near children again.

Tour De Yorkshire this Friday - going through Doncaster and outlaying towns :), we're at the rally at the Aviation Museum so hopefully will have a good view :cycle::cycle::cycle::cycle::cycle::cycle::cycle::cycle::cycle:

We are off to Ardingly for the bank holiday with West Sussex CMC. It’s the spring show. After the awful weather we’ve had recently I wonder what the ground will be like.
Anyone been to Ardingly - what’s the ground usually like. Is it well drained or can it be boggy?

I’ll be heading down to Southampton. Hoping to wild camp somewhere by Hingsbury Head on Friday I like to see the sea. Then parking in my sisters garden.

I’ll be missing the bike race - even though the village is all decked out; knitted bunting on the posts, yellow bikes, yellow and blue flowers and knitting round the trees. They go past the house. ‍♂️

I will be “staycationing” in my backgarden this weekend, away from the traffic and the....’minimum 4 nights in my field-with-a-tap’

We are off down memory lane on Thursday for a week at Cofton Farm, Dawlish. Last went 30ish years ago when "courting" stayed in a brown A Frame tent, drinking the local industrial strength scrumpy cider..... Oh those were the days ;)

We're off to Braid Farm, Smarden for the long weekend. Meeting up with our daughter & her partner. We're all staying until Tuesday so no travelling on Bank Holiday Monday!

I'm off to the Machynlleth comedy festival where I will be stewarding.
Its a great little festival in a smashing location.... when its not raining :D
Its quite different as a lot of the comedians and iennes are testing new stuff .

Joining the MCS of the C&CC at Quex Park, Birchington. Nice weather forecast for the weekend.

If we hadn't been meeting up with our daughter we probably would have gone there but unfortunately she needed somewhere to stay Monday night as well as the weekend as she has a hospital appointment in the area on Tuesday morning.

We'll eventually meet up again some time Helen!
