For the first time for a while we are having a weekend home alone, without any kids:D Van is being looked after by John's Cross near Battle, with some additional stuff going on during the next week. It's just come back from PWS in Bournemouth to measure up the Motorcycle Rack. And most importantly we collect the First Lady this weekend, the Lotus... Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow. We both can't wait...

Making DaThe bro the Dead bread for our school open evening. First needs x it works. Then popping over to the Romsey show tomorrow just for a little gander.

This weekend I'm thinking how I can get out of next weekend. In a moment of weakness I agreed to take the mother in-law with us somewhere. She is 84. I'm sure there is two of her as every time I turn around she is there in front of me blocking the way. And as for talking, my wife and the mother in-law don't even stop to take a breath when they are chatting, so no chance of breaking into the conversation.

Mike, does she also have the ability to stand in the way, watch you walking you walking towards you while you are carrying a hot pan, hot plates or cups of hot coffee. Still standing there she will ask, "Am I in the way, do you want me to move somewhere else?"

When you say yes, she will walk towards you and ask you to let her by?

Good idea!!!

Just re read my post...it made no sense whatsoever. Blooming autocorrect, I really should pay more attention. It should have said Day of the Dead bread. Which turned out great. Popped over to the Romsey show. Very small but a pleasant few hours of mooching around, poking my head in a few very expensive vans and drinking tea. Bought some loo blue and a new chair. Good day .

Are you sure it was the auto correct or too much of the Vino De Collapso

after spending the weekend in Czech Republic, where it rained for 49 of the 51 hours we were there, and 1 of the dry hours was waiting in the airport, i got home from work tonight to start preparing for the off on Wednesday..except i pretty much parked up and left it after the last race weekend, it took an hour to empty and clean the garage, and i then decided to do the inside as it started raining.. found 12 sausages in the oven, which were only moderately furry, think i may have underestimated the prep time for 17 days in germany.

On the flip side , my ADAC card landed today.

Been advised that we need a weekend at home
10th weekend since last September being at home
Really not looking forward to it
Might just go against swmbo and book somewhere
Also need to post comments about our first year motorhoming so beware of a long and photo heavy post coming this way
