2021 was a glass half full kind of a year.

Niece (27) got cancer.
Same niece got engaged (wuhoo!)
Chemo worked for same niece and she is clear (wuhoo!)
Sister in law, also got the all clear from cancer (wuhoo!)
Haven't seen some family members in over a year.
Eurotunnel rolled over our 2020 bookings again (wuhoo!)
Vaccine arrived (wuhoo!)
Weather in Wales was poxy over summer
Betws y coed in Easter was heavenly (wuhoo!)
Put on a stone that I really can't afford to carry
I haven't got oesophageal cancer, just a cough (wuhoo!)
Mrs DDJC abso-effing-lutely knackered and her hospitals are on a fourth surge.
Drove past an Insulate Britain protest, but it wasn't in our way (wuhoo!)
Eldest's disabled social worker proved to be about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike
Facing a huge bill for legal to get a Court of Protection order to allow us to be parents to our children.

But we all made it and hopefully, 2022 will see a return to a new normality.

Happy New Year Jim and Sian. It was fabulous that Katie got so much better.
I enjoyed several rallies with Fun, and meeting new fellow enthusiasts.
Thanks to everyone who organised and Marshalled the rallies.
I got a promotion at work, which helped fill the travel coffers, and have resigned, and started spending it. (Long term hire of a narrowboat, exploring the canal network) currently living inner city life in Birmingham.

Hoping to visit Scotland and the North East, in the van later this year, all being well.
Wishing you all good health, peace and FUN in 2022.

Thanks to you, Jim, and the Funster family, 2021 was pretty spectacular for me!

A few 'firsts' have inspired me to grab 2022 by the b@lls and make a lot more new memories.

Self inflicted sold 4 bed bungalow in 2021 took 2 years to sell, found and bought 2 bed bungalow, after living in Motor home then Static caravan , wife had new knee , family came to stay nightmare for me doing cooking , but , looking back 2021 was a brilliant year ." I woke up every morning" may it long continue , as I said to the Doctor in September I don't mind living with a problem I don't want to die from it !! Still waiting for diagnosis .
