Dry sunny all day about 19 at 2pm. v.chilly overnight -1 even now at 7pm ish its 14 degs MUCH MORE LIKE IT Happy Al:BigGrin: cannot believe anyone would not want to be away from UK. unless you like walking huskies,skiing,sledging etc etc unless of course the weather reports we see from the UK. are make believe!

Not strange at all Brian, but I guess we are all different.

As Al said, cannot understand that anyone WANTS to stay in the cold wet & snow the UK has had this winter.

Keep posting you guys, if nothing else it make me jealous :Smile: We are contemplating Spain/Portugal next winter as its got to be better for Barbara's health than the Cr*p we are suffering in the UK at the moment :Smile:
 
Winter Generalisation

We arrived in N.Spain end of October and apart from a 2 week spell about mid-November the weather has been unsettled ie.one good then one poor but usually dry day. I think its probably our worst winter out of 7 BUT its still poles apart Better than home , in 3 months 8 days max. of rain about the same with the high winds that can affect this region ANYONE reading this should hopefully be heartened if contemplating travelling this or next winter. Al

Cloudy and rain expected, tonight and tomorrow.

The sub tropical storm that has caused flooding in the Canaries is heading this way.
It is I think, over Portugal right now.

A bit more overcast today in Almeria but we have had great weather for the last 10 days. I have however never seen the desert here in Cabo so green , i could be back in Cambridgeshire but then i would not be in shorts and t shirt unless i wanted frostbite. Have not worn trousers since October but mind you get a few funny looiks from the locals who are wrapped up in overcoats ,scarfs and gloves in sunny 20 degrees

cloudy with a few spots of rain.
out dancing last night in the kaktus exellent.
going for a chinese meal 2 nite 3 courses and half a bottle of wine finnishing with a glass of rice flower wine for 4.5 euros each superb.
where would you sooner be?

The Calpe Mar site is very good and close to the town and beach. There is still room on it and the toilets are some of the best i have seen on camp sites. The weather is set to improve. Enjoy the trip. We live down here full time now, so we are not on the site, but we go over to visit our friends when they come down. If you need help with Calpe pm me

Rain Roquetas Rain

contrary to the popular rhyme " the rain in Spain etc" It fell here this morning but thankfully now stopped,
bit cool at 14 degrees but no sun::Eeek:

Yep we got it early hours this morning!!:cry::cry::cry:

One of our tents decided to take a walk but luckily wasn't damaged and the contents stayed put!:Eeek: All the pegs were ripped out even the heavy duty "U" shaped ones! :Eeek: No damage to the tent though!
The kitchen tent was OK and Ray and Joan's tent was OK. :thumb:

All recovered and back to normal now!:Laughing:


It's grey and cloudy now at 11.56am, 15 deg, no wind but threatening to rain!

it's bulging at the moment, a few hymer owners went yesterday to a hymer rally further south, but spaces soon filled.
people coming and going all the time.

Weather in the Costa del Sol

Hi,
We're on the coast midway between Fuengirola and Marbella. Weather is cloudy with "sprinkles" today, but still around 19C. Forecast is good for a week or so from tomorrow.:BigGrin:
