We didn’t expect this! (NEC 2025)

Very, Very Nice !

I kept coming across one in Morocco the other week. There look the business out in the wilds.

There were very much in the running for me but the extra long bed option in the MLt swung it for me.

The drivetrain and wheelbase are the same as my MLt so I reckon it will drive pretty much the same. We did 620 miles in a day down through Spain a few weeks ago and it was really smooth and comfortable despite the comedy tyres. However, on the tracks In Morocco it will get a lot further than you think is possible.
That’s excellent, thank you. As short-arses, we have masses of bed length, thank goodness.

That looks a great van. I hope you don’t have to wait too long for it and your next adventure … I always really enjoy your travel threads.
Fingers crossed for your brother and that he’s out of hospital soon 🤞👍

Angelio_33 on Instagram … that’s the guy we kept seeing in Morocco. Lots of good Xtrura action pics!

I know, and they're cream-coloured! A trip to Morocco to get seat covers made is already being discussed!
I have heard it can be a good place for getting things like that, an English guy who lives in our area had a London taxi, because he had a handicapped child, and they arr great for wheelchairs, he took it to morroco and had the whole interier redone in leather, an amazing job and a fraction of the cost of the UK.

Do they do it in "Orange"......😉

Have Fun

Cheers🍻

Congratulations on your new van. We’re looking forward to many vicarious 4x4 adventures, photographic food porn, ‘Fun with Flynn’ segments, and generally brilliant blogs that we’ve come to expect from you three.

Most importantly we really hope your brother’s lung transplant is a total success and send him our best wishes.

By the way - is the official colour ‘Cappuccino Beige?’ You wouldn’t believe the broad spectrum of colours that description covers. Our Rav, which we’ve always thought was the real macho colour of gunmetal grey is officially known as Cappuccino Beige. Cliff was horrified when he found out! 🤣

Thank you for the best wishes.

Cappuccino Beige! Don’t let Rog read this or we’ll be returning our deposit. Even worse it could be one of those hint of white things from Dulux - Nutmeg White or Hint Of Dubious Stain.

What are you going to call the new toy. 🤔
Still being discussed.

We have a pottery theme going on with our vans. Our VW, the first one, was Spode as it could be thought of as our China wedding anniversary present to each other.

There’s a very similar photo of us making a similar decision at the 2017 NEC show. Don’t we look young!

So when we changed to the Adria Twin in 2019, and the dealer was just down the road from Denby pottery, the name was easy.

So we either go for a German pottery - probably Meissen - or change tack completely. Ideas welcome!

Congratulations, looks like a capable machine, enjoy lots of adventures, already looking forwards to reading your travel blogs

Congrats on the new van. Our white seats are ceramic coated. Not even coffee has stained them as beads up on the material and wipes off.
Interesting! What did you use to do it?

Congratulations on your beautiful van. Looking forward to reading all about your adventures.

On a pottery theme…”Keith “ from the great pottery throw down. Cos it’s just brilliant, the best thing you’ve ever done! (Hoping you’ve watched it to get the reference 🤪)

Excellent. I like the idea of a rufty tufty van called Keith. Rather like calling your tiger Darren.

Make sure you have a tow bar fitted, so you can pull me out of the mud with your macho 4x4. Looks great.🤢
