We are so close but i have an operation on the 7th.I have strict instructions not to do anything for 4 weeks(cant see that happening)That aside think it may be to soon afterwards to think we could bring our van.May manage a visit during the day though with luck:BigGrin:

Good luck for your operation on the 7th and here is hoping your body heals quickly afterwards.

You are welcome to visit and if you dont want to bring the van, you could always hire a static if you decide at the last minute to stay overnight or a little longer xxxx

We are now proud owners of an electric Hot Water urn in addition to the water cauldron that was donated last year. Many thanks to the funsters who bought the smilie hats.

Theres nothing like a hot drink on a cold evening xxxxx

Gail, whats the last date /time i can order the hog roast, we are still awaiting our friends coming back to us, [they live on mersea]about meeting up with them,
until they decide we cannot/will not book, as i don't want to have to cancel.:Doh:

Waldegraves meet

Hi Gail,as we have not been to a fun meet for a few years,due to the RV being off the road,we have shelled out a small fortune and repaired it.So decided to come to the meet.Booked with Waldegraves this morning,two of us,Martyn & Eileen,pitch 282,meat.Looking forward to meeting you all.:beer::thumb:

Hi Gail - my pitch number is 246, I would like a meat meal please and it is just me, I and myself ! ergo 1 adult (sometimes a childish adult! :D )

Questions before booking.

Hi, on the website it says £18 per pitch. Do we have a special rate. Also it says awning £8. what does that mean? We have an awning on our motorhome. Do they charge you if you put it out or does it mean if you set up an external tent of some kind.

Excuse the ignorance, we have only been motorhome owners for .. ooohhh must be nearly 36 hours now.

we have a special rate so book by phone. Tell them you are with motorhome fun they already have certain pitches saved for us. They wont charge funsters for dogs. They should only charge you £16 per night. If you have any problems let me know

I would suggest do not pay for an awning as if its extremely windy it might be a waste of money. We can always sort that out over the weekend.

the pitch numbers that have been allocated to Motorhomefun are 231 to 280 and 281, 308-312

The awning on your motorhome can usually be wound in and out and not charged for. If you attach sides and privacy rooms etc leaving it out permanently then they would usually charge you.

Awning

Many thanks. I didn't know the rules for awnings. I thought it seemed a bit harsh to charge £8 just for winding it out. Wasn't planning on doing that anyway unless we get a heatwave in November lol.

We have decided we will definitely go. Might as well throw ourselves into this motorhome lark the right way. Will call this week and book. Have to leave early Sunday morning as have to work but definitely ok for the Fri, Sat and Sat night.

Will give you details once we've booked.
