Possibly. I'll investigate further.
I'm intrigued that no one else reports problems with theirs. I wonder if an anyone could explain if how an app can piggy back into an app and reside there. Could the same malware have infected a different app?

I wouldn’t have the first idea of how to do a security scan on my phone, Samsung S20, but there appears to be a constantly running ‘app?’ in the background that checks the phone and apps continuously. Never flagged a problem

Yes, but what actual evidence is there. I would like to to be able to judge vulnerability for myself and you, because of your experience, may be just the chap to help me with what actual evidence there is for this, please.
I ran the test. Wrote the evidence. I don't work there any more.
But I do know that all the major AV companies employ Apple programmer and their products cover all platforms.

There is black market where you can buy exploits. The price to buy the code that pokes holes in iOS has been lower than Android for a couple if years.
