Using your motorhome through the winter

Now a question for all those that go to the snow.

How do you stop everything freezing inside/outside the van.
Particularly if you don’t have a double floor.

We've not faced really cold or well below zero temps whilst away in December yet.

You’ll be fine as long as the heating and water is on as everything is inside the van... we were down to -7c in dolly and she was nice and toasty and no sign of any problems ?

Likewise, we were in -5/-6° over Christmas in Schwangau and whilst there were cold spots (hab door) with the heating on it was toasty. We're only a single skin floor too.

That’s what I like to hear.

Don’t know if you remember I had a few issues with the fridge on gas.

Never seemed to lite properly.
Sorted that now as well, whisper quite to lite now ?

Also considering getting an extension piece to fit down over the bonnet to the floor.
Stop the draughty wind that blows in ?
