We are doing our first European trip traveling through Spain & Portugal in Feb for 90days, we currently have 2 calor gas propane bottles, what is the best advise for what we need on gas replacement for travelling in these countries for this duration of time, all experienced comments welcome

We have been using Gasit bottles for many years both in UK and Europe. Garages selling LPG are becoming rare in the UK and especially where we live in Kent. Not too much problem because we generally fill up on our travels. Up until this year I have only encountered problems filling in Europe once, in Italy near Milan.
However we struggled a bit in Portugal this spring. Services on the motorway which have LPG will not allow us to refill unless we proved it was for propulsion. One on the A22 had resorted to removing the filling gun from the hose so that you needed to go into the shop to get it. When we did they downright refused to let us have it!
