No idea, if you want I can put your details on my template and then save it as an image/pdf then send it for you just to print off.

To be honest though I don't think your attempt is bad at all for a Loiner!!!!!

Pages and Numbers will usually open Word and Excel documents and any other standard format.

They will save to those formats as well if you need to.

If anyone ever feels the need to have a metal one give me a shout.

I can produce that sort of thing on aluminium sheet if required.

My one from SV is on self adhesive vinyl which is ideal for where I've put it. I can make those as well.

Thanks but I just based it on the original as supplied (y)

Andy,

Pedantic mode on!
KG should be kg (lower case!). How did you get that wrong?

If our van hadn't been registered as a motorcaravan but as a PLGV or if it hadn't been registered at all we COULD have done it ourselves using the VTG10 form. Unfortunately Fiat and Dethleffs have basically 'washed their hands' of giving any sort of confirmation of the vehicle specification which is where the 'problem' lies, other manufacturers are not so 'dismissive', Hymer for instance will provide the info.

Do you know how/if I can do this if I buy a new vehicle?

The dealer should be able to do it for you when they register it. Ours did.

Once it's registered and a V5 is issued you will have to go down the route of using SV or JR or someone similar

Is your van British or Imported

Our dealer said we had the choice of plating at 3,500 or 3,650. We've gone for the 3,650. Didn't cost any extra on purchase price.

Yes I was but they expressly told me to wait 4 weeks before pursuing them again. The vehicle check showed my upgrade before I got the V5C back

Ring them and they can see if they are able to issue you with a temporary certificate/document to show your 'new weight', assuming it's accepted by them (which it should be), whilst the new V5C is being produced. I had to do this when our new V5C wasn't going to arrive in time for our holiday - I spoke to someone called Rebecca Pugh who was very helpful and emailed me a V379 application form entitled "Information We Require To Issue a V379 Temporary Registration Certificate" (copy attached) which I printed off, completed, signed, scanned and then emailed back to her with ID documentation as detailed on the form, 3 days later she sent me the temporary certificate. Rebecca's contact details are as follows:

Can anyone tell me please how long "John" takes to do his calculations and send out the necessary paperwork ready for DVSA.
