Yip, typical modern society.Just like all those tents that are put up and hired out a festival etc, it’s cheaper to dump them then pack them away. Terrible really.

You forgot to mention the non-members supplement as well......... and nobody will be coming from the continent when they can use Aires and cheaper sites to enjoy the better weather.
This looks like the beginning of the end for ACSI.all seven of them?

We stayed at one in Millau in September, took the card in and he said they aren't in it this year as it's very expensive for them.. But he still gave us the ACSI priceThis looks like the beginning of the end for ACSI.
The entire book now only covers 2,000 campsites for the whole of Europe, with well over half or them in France.
Considering they are a Dutch company to only have 376 sites in the netherlands is dreadful, as I'm guessing the country must have at least 3,000 sites
When we last toured Germany in 2017 I'm sure there were several thousand sites listed for Germany.
We only used ACSI sites and left reviews on all of them.
There were also several hundred sites listed in the UK a few years ago.
To now only have 7 sites listed means that basically there are 7 sites that have wasted money as the card will be of zero use.
I presume that UK Campsite owners are presuming that there will be no EU campers in 2022, which may be correct of course.
It's a pity, as we found the reviews on the sites gave a good indication of what they were really like, and the entries regarding the facilities were updated every year by independent inspectors.

I wonder if the book was printed before all the non-renewals came in.Not studied them in depth but the guides have the same number of pages as last year
It is relatively easy to install a micro meter on each pitch.
We went to a CL site on Romney Marsh last summer where each pitch got a certain amount of electricity as part of the pitch price which was fine if you were only running the fridge and lights
However if you then ran the electrical heater, aircon, cooker, hairdryer and the film projector, then you paid (20p from memory) per KW over your limit.
It worked for us.
It annoyed the owners of the CL as well (Shingle Hall farm on Romney March)I would benefit financially from metered electricity because we are relatively light users when pitched up and could cope with only 6 Amps instead of 16 Amps. I resent cross-subsidising heavy users. It annoys me especially when I see electric heaters left on in awnings.
Fair point - its ridiculous - almost as if we had left the EU!!all seven of them?

My bus pass isn’t valid in England
We were only in acsi one year, fair enough ,the book was worth the subscription just to see the sites, but we didn't find one that we couldn't get a better deal for cash at the gate than the price in the book.Fair point - its ridiculous - almost as if we had left the EU!!
