It's a bit more than that unless you are French you need a compelling reason to travel and that does not include Tourism from Saturday.France have just announced that Brits will have to isolate on entry to France!
No i cant find eitherDoes that include Mohos via the Chunnel, as can't seem to find the Announcement...
Just found it...No i cant find either

Just reading your post, I'm wondering are you, (everyone else) being scared into thinking there is a situation that doesn't exist, I referring to the Omnicron variant in this, it would appear that as a virus mutates Omnicron has mutated down so is actually more virulent but has milder symtoms thus less likely to be as severe. At this time, I don’t consider it socially acceptable for people to be moving about or mixing unnecessarily, or behaving in a way that might be interpreted as doing so. Others may not understand that you intend to remain isolated (you do, don’t you?) and will assume that you’re off to party, and may think that “if they are, then so will I”…
It’s easy for me to suggest that unnecessary travel or mixing should not take place because, being the cautious type, I’d rather stay at home than risk it and, after two year’s practice, I’ve become accustomed to it.
But if the multiplication go up then the percentage of hospitalisations also increase. We had around 50K a day positive and 800 a day entering hospital. Now make that 200K a day positive, will that mean we have 3200 a day going to hospital. I think thats what the medics are basing their arguments on. What is not known at this stage and until we get 50K a day of Omicron and then three weeks later or so the hospital numbers. That will not happen until into January. So its towards the end of January and beyond wherever you are in Europe if the figures go bad you may see additional movement restrictions ( Form of lockdowns) that is why at this stage we are not setting of again to Spain as being on site not allowed of your pitch does not hold appeal to us.Just reading your post, I'm wondering are you, (everyone else) being scared into thinking there is a situation that doesn't exist, I referring to the Omnicron variant in this, it would appear that as a virus mutates Omnicron has mutated down so is actually more virulent but has milder symtoms thus less likely to be as severe.
Resulting in less people being hospitalised in effect making the patient no more worse off than a case of Influenza.
Thanks could you post the peer reviewed evidence for that.Just reading your post, I'm wondering are you, (everyone else) being scared into thinking there is a situation that doesn't exist, I referring to the Omnicron variant in this, it would appear that as a virus mutates Omnicron has mutated down so is actually more virulent but has milder symtoms thus less likely to be as severe.

Very quietAre you still at Bonterra? We're halfway down France, planning to arrive Sat pm. Wondering if its still quiet?
We have rescheduled ours for 18th January. We live in hopeFerry to France on Boxing Day now cancelled and booked Portsmouth to Santander on Feb 1, just in case.
I would like to think Omnicron is less severe and along with boosters it's not a big problem. Thanks could you post the peer reviewed evidence for that.
I think pretty much the same. If I lived in France with their measures to reduce spread and saw the cases doing what they are here and no new measures I would want the action they're taking. Were booked to ski in Austria early January I'll be pleasantly surprised if it goes ahead. If Omicron turns out to be a mild illness it will be great although as it seems to partially evade immunity by previous vaccination and previous infection it seems likely to me that Omicron infection may not provide much immunity against other variants.I would like to think Omnicron is less severe and along with boosters it's not a big problem.
This is wishful thinking/ clutching at straws on my part and I would think it is too early for the evidence to prove of disprove the idea or peer review it
I'm still hoping to get to the Alps this winter but it's a first world problem
Lots of people with much much bigger things to worry about
If I was living in France and not involved with the tourist industry I would have been asking what the politicians were doing letting all those virus ridden Brits into the country
I'm not scared, but I do not know what is going to happen and I don't believe any one else does either. I have restrained my activities because I think it the right thing to do, in the hope that a solution will be found in the meantime.Just reading your post, I'm wondering are you, (everyone else) being scared into thinking there is a situation that doesn't exist, I referring to the Omnicron variant in this, it would appear that as a virus mutates Omnicron has mutated down so is actually more virulent but has milder symtoms thus less likely to be as severe.

I did a double take at this but found this web page (reading age) . They explain how to 'dumb down' your writing so everyone can understand what you say. Don't sez much abou ow edcashun sistum do it?Apparently the average reading age in the U.K. is of a 9 year old. Given that as a sad ‘fact’ then the Government is probably right !
No more than usualAre we doomed?
