Travel to Europe, should we shouldn't we

We have a trip planned June, July and August. France, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Holland and home. With the war, possible fuel shortages etc would you go. We have until the middle of May for balances to be paid on some of the pre booked destinations. From a moral point of view should we go and support the local economies or stay. Before anyone says "stay and support uk campsites and economy" thats not going to be an issue, uk parks will be booked main season twice over. I suppose its a moral dilemma..............
I'd head to Europe and see where the weather pulls us. I would go to the places mentioned and even Poland will still need visitors as they'll have extra strain on their economy. I'm not clear what you have booked and need to pay for. Are they campsites in popular areas?

Wow, you are a nicer bloke than me.

After two years of Devon gales, Welsh rain, Norfolk flatness, Oxfordshire indifference, Isle of Wight timewarp-ness, I am going somewhere hot with epic food and wine, and whether they need my custom or not, is not a factor in that decision.

In Austria the parks get busy July August. I have to book as my total length is 3m I tow a trailer with a polaris Ranger on the back, I need to know the parks are able to take MH and trailer of my size so have to pre book. Other wise i would go where the wind takes me

Just do it!
Make sure you have insurances and ehic etc. and just go.
OK, it will cost a few hundred quid more but you can claw this back by using municipal sites for free and eating 'at home' etc.
In the month we have been away, we have covered about 2500 at 24mpg which has come to about £650 just for fuel - double what we were paying a couple of years ago. We have split stops evenly between free and paid and eat 'at home' to save cash for attractions etc.
As an aside, we will save about £600 from utilies and putting the car in sorn.
Stick some cash away for emergency reserve and just go...
Ive worked out that the extra cost of fuel over 3000 miles will ad up to about £200 extra. Over the three months not much at all. In all honesty its not he cost that was the concern it was if it felt right. The general opinion seems to be go for it and and enjoy... So off we shall go

I'm in Spain at the moment heading back towards home and i wish i wasn't have a great time, we only pass this way once.

There is no problem, I suppose my consideration was living a gin and tonic life style while others struggle. All countries require support all the time and every little helps. Even our very own affluent country will require continued support. although you have answered my original thought and don't see any moral dilemma.... Off I go then
I take your point completely, we agonised before our Greece trip when they were in financial poop, we went and they were pleased to see us and grateful for the cash injection into their economy.
GO.
And enjoy.
