Never used a loo bag or liner, we just shoot straight.
Can you advise how the bags are disposed of once used. I have only ever seen doggy poi bins ,never human ones. Are they disguised in some way or secretly marked so bags can be disposed off environmentally.?
Who is ever going to check whether they’re doggy , moggie or mine 🤣 today I am …..

Is it just me, or does it look a bit like a baby darlek 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

It stretches the time out till you get to somewhere you can empty.
I know the thought behind it ...After all I did it with my frankia and my hymer. OK in countries with aires and disposal points. But it was useless in countries when there weren't any.

What do you do with all the bags of shit. Do you store them till you find somewhere with a bin?

There are bins everywhere. I store nothing lol. It gets binned straight away
You don't tour the south of England then. Bins are in short supply here. Almost never see a bin in a layby.

You're correct lol I don't. I only do the odd stop over on route to Europe or home. Too hard finding nice free park ups down there these days. But plenty bins around Scotland and in Europe.

I know some use toilet bags on here and with my next van I’ll probably be doing the same….

Which bags do you find to be best…💩😎
What about actually using the loo as your supposed to do,it’s not hard or nasty to empty and washout…

I'm trying to get my head round it, too. If that's the case, though, wouldn't it be classed as contaminated waste and, therefore, not able to go in a normal bin? I know many people wouldn't worry about that but wouldn't it just be something else that would give MoHoers, tuggers, campers et al a bad name? We seem to have enough problems as it is with people who object to us, without adding to the list.

Obviously if dog waste goes in the normal waste bins it makes little difference .

I think people need to stop over thinking stuff.

And stop thinking everything gives motorhomers a bad name.

Personally I think that putting human excrement ,even if bagged, into a public waste bin is absolutely disgusting behaviour.
These bins are not handled by machines but by people who have to physically pull the waste bin liner out and empty it

And someone has to empty the bin which is normally done by hand .and they could end up covered in 💩

I was thinking it was taken to the Elsan point or even emptied into a toilet . Saying that going out to check my cassette to ensure it's not been used .

Once again .

The same thing is done with dog waste and I can assure you my dogs drop more of a mess than I ever have.

And don't start me on bags of cat litter and cat crap.

Not to mention nappies and other things that are a lot more disgusting than a bit of poo.

Don't forget HGV drivers there putting waste in bins the length and breath of Europe.

Dog poo bins are separate due to diseases that are harmful but could the human poo not be put in there too..I had never heard of human poo bags until now but thought they were liners for the cassettes to keep them clean and that they would be dropped into black waste, live and learn , until I got my own van the cassette was miraculously emptied daily 😉

You're gonna get a nasty shock in the Republic of Ireland ... very, very few public bins, we had a job just getting rid of normal household type rubbish.
