CAMC normally just want one corner of your MoHo parked in line with a peg then it’s just park forwards or reverse in line with the peg. It’s courteous to not face your neighbour and give them a little privacy but understand that some have a need to feel social and want to face another unit to chat with their neighbour…..just be aware not everyone wants new ‘friends’ or chit chat.We have a Hymer on a Mercedes base, so quite logically the habitation door is on the right.
We got told off at the CAMC site in Chester for attempting to park in the pitch nose first.
This apparently was the wrong way around and spoils the symmetry of the parking
No problem, I'll reverse in then.
We then got told off for having our habitation door on the wrong side as we were encroaching on our neighbours space.
Luckily our neighbours did not see it as an issue as they were just off out for the evening and off in the morning, so we were 'permitted' to have our habitation door on the wrong side and they left the pitch next to us empty.
However we were warned that we only 'got away with it' as the site was only half full!
Normal on a lot of the busy Aires we don't have a problem with it.Pulled into le crotoy aire on 26th May this year and it was full , each van was about a yard from the next one you could dip your bread in next doors gravy. A fire, and every van would have been lost. We moved on .
Indeed it could be interrupted that wayTrue! There are some miserable bu**ers out there…….!!![]()
