Time for another toilet thread

Try a 2pint plastic milk bottle, perfect. Remember to not put it back in the fridge :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Orifice is a bit too small ... He's as blind as a bat without his glasses so the bigger the better to make sure he can stick it in ... It's bad enough cleaning the washroom normally without it having an overnight hose down!

With the blade closed pour some white vinegar on it and leave for a couple or hours.

You say it is only the blade but have you actually taken the mechanism out and had a look a lot of crud builds up on them.
Do you remember a time when coca cola was also used to clean RV waste

Brown sauce is a great cleaning agent…….steady that is the HP variety.

Having had boats for years, in order to avoid retch-inducing, seasick-making odours, we had a strict sit down rule in the heads (toilet). That way, no wee was spilled and left to fester in hard-to-reach places.

We operate the same system in the MH. Sit down wees mean that there’s no splashback and the loo compartment smells clean and fresh always.
Since reading your post and seeing the YouTube video which shows how it splashes all over the place, I have adapted to sitting down. One of the benefits seems to be that you empty your bladder more thoroughly. My usual three or more trips to the toilet during sleeping hours has now reduced to one or two. Takes some getting used to, but definitely some benefits to it.

I have been using Viakal to dissolve and remove the hardscale building up on the blade - the active ingredients are Formic Acid & Citric Acid. The main plastic materials in the cassette, including the blade should be acid-resistant (e.g. uric acid-resistant) but you have to be careful with rubber seals. So far the lipseal is ok. But I think that I will stop using Viakal because Formic Acid can damage rubber seals. Citric acid is ok so I'll switch to lemon juice now. Vinegar (dilute Acetic Acid) is ok with most synthetic rubbers but according to these tables https://mykin.com/rubber-chemical-resistance-chart Citric acid is better.
