So far, walls completed and painted with breathable paint, 1 primer and 2 top coats, bottom of trench a French drain chucked all the way around with a geotextile sock on.

All the trenches filled with Geocell foam glass aggregate totally encased in geotextile, whacking it down hardest work as only a small space so heavy top of sledgehammer used. It’s load bearing, closed cell, free draining, stable and insulation all in one.

Need to top off the geotextile now.

it’s 8.9 metres long so the back rear area and down the sides 1.5 to 2 metres down I may put an internal wall with a cavity built of brick and lime mortar. Just a double measure as that is the most vulnerable area and where it is further below ground.
