Those happy days, YouTube.

I think it was "Chops Garage" (another youtube channel, as a dealer in cheaper cars, who always checks the radio presets. Radio 4 or 2 are good signs, others are a warning flag of not looking after the cars :roflmto:
I saw that channel and thought as it was called chops it was going to be write offs being done, turned out it was his nickname.

They don’t seem to be very clued up about measurements and Liam the Terrible not really pointing them in the right direction. I haven’t yet seen finished van but I worry about headroom and ventilation above the bed.
I noticed when she was talking the The Roaming Radfords on their blog that she was sitting on the bed and crouching down even though she was in the skylight a bit. I have just finished my heightened bed and I made sure I could still sit up on the bed whilst giving myself enough room for the garage below. They may find that difficult full time.

Don't think they will be in it long.
It just gets dafter.

In their latest video Janine said that she hadn’t slept very well be because she was too hot. I think that was only their second night. The access “steps” both to the bed and to the outside look awkward and a bit dangerous.

It's total nonsense having the bed up there and having to climb that straight up ladder, I know folks say they won't have to get up at night but what a performance if the far one has to get over the near one and then find them steps.

Still no sign of a toilet fitted or a grey water tank.
They have took the writing off and put near enough identical back but that looks as if it was, care of the Radford's.

It looks more of a problem getting down, I know that they are younger and more agile but still……
Anyway, whilst finding myself with unexpected time on my hands, I have transferred to watching Kingingit, Craig and Aimee. Really good watching.

Now a question I seriously don't know the answer to so not taking the p.
Do vegans never go to the toilet?
Not such a problem for vegetarians, they only drop dung/manure so it's good for fertile soil and probably welcomed on farm land 😊👍

Two engineering ones that I watch, Doubleboost and CEE are always getting stuff sent in. Doubleboost does a monthly draw and sends the items he's received off to the winer free of charge, anywhere in the world. CEE get lots of toys sent in for their Staffie and they pass them on to a local dog's charity.
One I watch makes a point now and then to say that he doesn't take any freebies, and only reviews stuff he/they bought themselves.

There's another couple whose YouTube channel I really love as they're nice folk, travel to some places I've been/want to go, and include some fantastic still shots as well as the video. They've only just done their first 'paid promo' and flagged it to make it clear it was different to their usual posts, but their channel is littered with advertising to the point where I sometimes give up. Two lots of ads in the first 7 minutes, plus pop ups, and it drives you crazy. And yes, I know you can subscribe to YouTube's ad free service, but I avoid subscription services whenever possible.

Don't know if anyone is still interested in this anymore, but their latest YouTube thing is not very good, this new van has now broken down and is in a garage in Nottingham, don't know where they did the film from but obviously indoors somewhere, he just gives a speech about it but not explaining anything while she is sitting there looking very frail and miserable and hardly utters a word.

Going on from this, does anyone watch the roaming Radford's on YouTube they seem to be one of the leaders in this sort of thing and their first outing in their new van is on now.
Very surprised they aren't on here.

Been watching great couple. Very pleased they named the van “Morgan” after us, (nothing to do with the furniture van where they bought it from owners Morgans of Honiton!)

Colyboy. (Paul and Ann MORGAN)

PS. By chance we were a in local supermarket car park and a Morgans furniture van parked next to us. Had a chat with the driver and they knew there was going to be on YouTube. They only sold it because they wanted a newer one with a tail lift. He stated it was a good little runner!

You took the words out of my mouth.

Yep, I watch them, from time to time, I'm not a subscriber.

I subscribe to and watch most of the posts from:
Life is too Short - Ken and Carol travelling in a Nissan NV200
Camper Vibe - Lou and Emily in a self converted Citroen PVC in which they travel far and wide with their dog AJ and cat Summer.
CamperVanya - Sue, with a VW T6. Touring after losing her husband a couple of years ago. An interesting vlog with some posts and comments on working through grief.
Dolittle Campers - David and Clare, two dogs and a Leisuredrive Vivante. I like them as they do quite a few similar things to me!
Adventure Van Freddie - Tony and Claire in a Peugeot Boxer self built PVC. They've done quite a few tours in places I hope to visit, and they're both photographers who take some stunning stills as well as video.
Yorkshire Pop Top Adventures - Colin and family in their T6 'Jeff'. Fun videos and reviews. A similar van to mine so the reviews are generally interesting and have sometimes cost me quite a bit!!
Travels in a Motorhome - Lydz and Keith, currently travelling in a Bilbo's VW called Gandalf (the grey), after previously having another VW and a couple of Motorhomes. They post on a blog rather than a vlog.

I periodically watch videos of interest from:
Bimbles with a Camera
Jerba Campervans (one of the best converter channels there is - others could learn a lot by looking at their approach)
Roaming in Raymond
Silver Nugget Adventures
Andrew Ditton
Wizard in the Wild Campervan Advenutres
A Bus and Beyond

That looks like a lot! I do quite often 'watch' while also doing something else.

See the guys from "Those Happy Days" have gone to Corfu. Take there mind off the van for a few days.

Add 'The Slaws' to your watch list - we like their approach to taking people with them on their travels ...

as for the Happy Days .... they are just new age travellers who sometimes wash .... makes me laugh when they say they sold up their home to travel, which happened to be a static caravan from the footage - so im not sure how long their funding stream will last, even more so on the amount they are spending in Corfu on eating out! We turned them off as it was clearly a 'go fund my trip to corfu' as opposed to motorhome info/content

though the Rolling Rucks - relative newcomers - have decided to add mid week vlogs, probably on the basis of more views equals more income, but they seem to forget that most watchers ( i assume) do so for actual content, tips, advice etc not to support their lifestyle choices

Add Project Amber to your list, great guy who comes across really well. His recent van rebuild is well worth a watch.

he certainly works hard and for some reason comes over as lacking confidence, but if you watch his rebuild you will see he is pretty competent. i hope everything goes well for him and his girlfriend in Portugal - he had a few setbacks last year but did manage to get Portuguese residency
