THIS week I bought

Our house fridge/freezer is going tits up so I just this past few minutes bought a new Hotpoint online from Empiredirect (previously bankrupt but now part of Richersounds) Delivery tomorrow SUNDAY for £14.99 (y)

I chose this model

This week we bought our first 'Proper' pair of ramps for the van.
These are the three step Thule make, complete with a sturdy bag.

The reason for the post is to give an 'Up' to the below Company who gave speedy service in delivering the item at what I consider to be a very good price. (£20 plus pennies delivered)
The Company was Caravan Camping Outlet of Southern Ave, Leominster HR6 0QF with a web address of www.caravancampingoutlet.co.uk OR ishop247.co.uk The usual applies, I have no connection with the Co. other than being a very satisfied customer.

Thanks that's useful as they are on the way to my dealer in Ludlow (van dealer not jimmy the smoke):sneaky:.

How much was she.................just for interest?

Oh, the excitement....

..... Got a new dishwasher this week and promptly flooded the kitchen with it. Serious malfunction - of the idiot that installed it.

Now our 30 year old Panasonic genius microwave has gone tits up. Best microwave ever - auto everything. Just pressed the required button and it cooked whatever was in it. Great for doing, but not overdoing vegetables, fish etc. We will miss it and the duck will have to learn even more new culinary skills ;)

I got 9 yrs out of the Bosch fridge so can't complain

2 x 11kg Gas-it refillable bottles, external fill kit and other gubbins to go with it.

I am opening a book on how long we will drag this around with us, along with the 2nd leisure battery, inverter and dash cam, before they get fitted!

Place your bets now!

Just bought a silver windscreen cover, a universal one for £59.99. Just been outside to see if it fits and got to say not bad at all. Nearly took off with it in the winds though. Perhaps not the best weather conditions to try it out!:Eeek:

After discovering cracking on our tyres (Michelin XC Campers of 0106 vintage:Eeek:) we have just bought 4 Sailun Commercio tyres. via Adsatyres. Fully fitted, new metal valves, balancing etc for less than £260.
Came home and the difference in the ride was amazing. The fitters even advised me regarding reducing the pressure for the van tyres (which is what they are) to cope.

Reducing pressure reduces load carrying capacity.
Unless you mean relative to the 80psi max rating of the Michelin.

Exactly Techno.
The Max on the present tyres is 65lbs per sq. At that they are rated the same as the Michelins ie 109/107. The Michelins were 80. although I ran them at 72 because at 80 I was bouncing down the road

It should be what's been delivered today in our case.
Drop down sink , Ralph can't decide to do left or right side loo yet but the sink fits above the loo so that the whole walls plastic. The matching shower tray. A large Heiki roof light , bathroom tap. All for the R&B conversion.
Yesterday a huge roll of that fabric stuff you stick on the walls , and the fabric we chose for the u shape lounge seats and pelmets , matching cushions etc.
We've decided to do leather trim knee rolls , tops and sides and full leather swivel drivers and passenger seats.

Just had an iBoost D8 delivered from Motorhomewifi.
Shame our van is away at the menders for a couple of weeks. I might have to have a drive around in the car to see how it works. We only have 2 houses within a mile of us to test it with and I can pick up their wifi networks with and without the iboost!

A replacement 12volt socket with TV and sat fittings. I had been a bit over zealous when the van was last out and bust the socket. Have also fitted it myself, replaced the fuse that blew and everything now working find. Pleased with myself as although this was a simple job when I tackled it I thought I would be parting with a few quid to get a local dealer to do. Don't like messing with fittings as the van is only 13 months old but just proves us 'girls' can do some basic bits when we put our mind to it.

a complete new bathroom. and a new widow for our bedroom.

This morning bought this ladder from Aldi
Broken Link Removed
Then fixed some foam buffers to it and cleaned the garden that was our roof...
I'm totalled.. But the roof's sparkling white.. As is the entire van

I bought it from the double skillet website, ordered it 2 weeks ago. I wasn't very optimistic but it arrived ok. It was £37 but the p&p is £10. The large one is out of stock. I had a stupid moment and ordered that first but paid by paypal and money was refunded in under 2 weeks.

Thanks Carolyn I just bought one with diffuser/egg poacher (y)
Surprise for wifey  she already has the large

Its funny how it is perfectly acceptable to buy a motorhome related kitchen product as a gift but if you bought her a set of saucepans for home she might well smash you over the head with them!
Hope yours arrives ok.

Well , today we have received , off our bewildered postman, all the way from New York no less, a ..............

Fantastic Vent.
Yes that's it's actual name, though it is an all singing dancing fan. Yet another of Ralph's gadgets for the new PVC.
Below is a YouTube clip showing how it works when installed.

Ralph asked me to mention, this is the roof mounted version of the endless breeze fan. He'd read on here how some of you had them and said how good they were. Did a bit of research and found this.
