Mike,
I hope you haven't bought a pair of Schwalbe Marathons for your bike - I have a brand new pair of the Marathon Plus's here in my garage that would fit your bike........ I take it they are 700c's? An upgrade from the Marathons for sure. Don't unpack them, give me a shout and you can have a look at them. 1/2 price to you old chap and never have to change them again.

Teach me how to use the camera well and they are yours........ :thumb:

Regards,

Trikeman.

Oops-fitted them yesterday Marthon plus 700 x 28

That's the ones - the ones I have are Marathon Plus and are 700 x 28 too.
Doh!

Anything 'bike' consult Trikeman's 'Garage of many bits - the old cycling emporium'. Between me, Son and Son in Law we have just about everything hanging around, inc just about all the tooling.

Regards,

Trikeman.

Newbury show purchases.

Numerous items at the Newbury show yesterday, most I had intended buying anyway namely those anti-theft window catch thingies and a 3g device from Motorhome Wifi.

One thing stands out as a potential duffer, we passed a stand selling shower heads so I thought " those are the heads I've read so much about".

Not so, when we got home I googled "cyclone shower heads" and found nothing at all. Probably a bit to early to damn the product completely as we obviously haven't used it, even so at £20 special show price it wont send us over the edge financially if it's a duffer.

Apart from that also bought a wooden door dog guard, a "magic" floor brush, dog drying blanket thingie and a folding wheelie to carry them all in.

Nice chat with the people who make the sides and fronts for the roll out awnings and a special thanks to Sian (sp?) at the funster tent for the beers, went down very well!

I think the showerheads you were thinking of were from a company called Ecocamel. Was that what you bought?

Greetings,

We've bought a pair of lowered seat boxes for the 'Van, (X244 base on a Hobby)

Hopefully we will be able to see where we're going without having to slouch down, (especially when going downhill!!!

Picked up the new Pilote A Class from Hayes leisure, who also fitted a dual reversing camera, bike rack and awning. Still to fit (currently in the garage) are the satellite dome and solar panels which will be done next week. Also got a Schaudt solar controller so that the control panel works properly and a shiny new Avtex satellite TV

I'll never be able to buy anytning ever again, got a daughterrs wedding to pay for:cry::cry:

A spare toilet cassette for the Dometic toilet fitted to our MH.
More than twice as expensive as a Thetford:cry:
But at least we now will have the ability to stay a few more days in the wild if we are somewhere we really like. There were a couple of places last year in Morocco we would have stayed longer if we hadn't had to do something about the cassette.
