THIS week I bought

My tyres are usually in a shady spot but even in the UK my wipers take a pounding from UV. I haven’t had to replace the wipers for 5 years since I started using UV covers on them, previously 2 or 3 years seemed to have them splitting.
I cover my tyres when on the drive and remove the wipers and put them inside the van.

With the dust here mine are changed regularly . few times a year .

She sings and a bodice she is wearing lights up.

Absolutely fantastic:RollEyes:
Did you buy it from Del boy at Chapel market

I got a Vanbitz battery mastert and fitted it today and took all of 10 minutes.

May i ask what that does?
The Battery Master from Van Bitz keeps your engine starter battery safely topped up by linking it to the leisure battery. Its automatic one-way action will pass a small trickle charge to the engine battery whenever its voltage becomes less than a defined level below that of the leisure battery, so that the engine battery is kept in the best condition for easy starting and a long service life.

Just ordered a new 60 litre compressor fridge..arrives Wed.Removed old 3 way Electrolux yesterday..BUSBY.
Fridge now successfully fitted and working..it will be nice to have a decent size freezer compartment and not have to worry about the gas igniting when off grid..BUSBY

Just treated myself to a new laptop as my HP 255 G7 was getting a bit 'clunky' and noisy (it does get a lot of hammer!), so decided on a change of manufacturer and this time I've gone for a Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15.6in Ryzen 5 16GB 512GB. Lovely keyboard, better than the slightly lower spec £399 HP I tried at Currys which only had 8gb of RAM:

It was discounted at Argos to £379 and as I used a load of vouchers I had (rewards for taking out life insurance, bank accounts etc) in reality only cost me the payments for those policies for a short length of time which was around £60.00 plus £61.49! :p Can't complain at that. :giggle: However they've just reduced it by another £20. :cautious:

I Just got to get it all set-up now ... might let hubby do it for me as he likes messing about with computers! :giggle:

Good news, I got in touch with Argos about them making a £20 discount on the laptop on the day I collected it and they agreed to reduce cost of mine to match it. :giggle:

Bought and fitted a new diesel filter assembly for our Peugeot based motorhome. Took all of twenty minutes to swap the old for the new. May now dismantle the old one and see if it's repairable for use in an emergency. My next purchase will be the service tool!

Unfortunately won't be there.

Broke an all plastic snow foam lance when doing the MH at weekend.
Bought a brass one to go on Karcher - have done two cars with it with very good results. Now wanting to get MH out from storage to give it a go.

Martech semi-air suspension kit for our Ducato. Adapting it to keep each side independent, rather than them being linked together.
That's what I did via solenoid valves permanently connected compressor double digital air pressure gauge and 2 dpdt momentary switches each side can be raised or lowered at the flick of a switch on the dash

Ideal! I went for the Marcle Leisure manifold with gauge instead - allows equalising both sides and/or filling one independently of the other. Although, having now installed I can see how we could easily fit a compressor and controls in the future if needed.

After reading the tyre cover posts, have just got these from Parrotsol on ebay, who I believe is our own jezport

Bit of a bugger to put on but OK when you get the hang of it. The other side is shaded most of the time, this side gets full sun for half the day, so only bought the two.

Have a look at his ebay store, lots of things you never knew you needed!

Bought an air filter and oil filter. Now contemplating engine oil and wondering if paying £50 for five litres gets you better oil than paying £30.

Probably if you don't do many miles or change it often? 🤔

Yesterday I bought plug adaptor with 2 usbs to replace the one we had, almost completely emptied the van and couldn't find it.
Today was having a bit of a clear out, no prizes for guessing what was in the drawer with some dresses I rarely wear. Think my gremlin is at work again.

Drawer in the house 🤣 Me Posh? Obviously never met me, been accused of many things but posh is not one of them.
Do take a 'going to the shower' dress rolls up in a ball and can double as a nightie if needed. although I did once cart a wedding outfit round Spain and Portugal for 2 months as wedding was on the south coast, took and used the travel iron too 😲

Treated ourselves to new trailer ( new to us ) for the smart car complete with motor movers, very happy with our purchase......just need to sell the other trailer we've got 🙄
