A new phone - a Xiaomi Redmi 9 Global Version 4G Smartphone in Ocean Green with:
  • 6.53 inch screen
  • Quad Rear Camera
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB ROM
  • 5020mAh battery
  • Helio G80 Octa core processor
I paid £113.59 delivered and it's gone up a little bit now but still a very good phone for the price ... it's quite a bit bigger than the Redmi 6 I've already got though but not overly so.

Broken Link Removed

It arrived yesterday and I spent ages messing about setting it up and doing a hatchet job on my contacts to give them a good clear out (not helped by my Google backup doing multiples!). I could have got a nice purple one which I was sorely tempted with but the ocean green version (aka jade!) is gorgeous.

Hubby is VERY jealous as he treated himself to the 8 a few months ago but he ain't getting my 9! :giggle:

A Cadac Carri Chef 2. I know it is a bit on the big and heavy side but we are usually cooking for 5 or 6. If it proves too cumbersome, we will use it at home and buy something smaller for the MH.

We have one, love it and we have room to take in MHome. Mind you our trip last week I forgot to put the legs in the MHome, so someone close to me was not very happy. Smudger55

We have yet to put it into MH for trip next weekend but I’m sure it will fit. Legs are a bit awkward but I’v ordered the bag for them. Will just leave it in MH permanently so shouldn’t forget anything (famous last words). :giggle:

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5...0001&campid=5338547443&icep_item=184316097616 to use on our van conversion with a magnetic awning rail for some shade/shelter when our pop up shelter isn't allowed & to provide a covered tunnel to it when it is. Might end up buying & fitting a wind out awning but the tiny amount of time we used one on our last motorhome didn't justify the weight & cost on this one. Will see how it goes...
Managed to pick up a secondhand almost new Jormax

Having just had our first habitation check done on Thursday, went in dealer shop and bought some Milenko Wing mirror protectors. Think, although expensive got at a good price £45 Inc Vat. We also bought blue toilet solution and toilet rolls but not so exited about them. Winging it

I’d really like to see a photo of your steam punk garden light. Will it be finished soon?

I am waiting for parts at the moment ( including some 6mm brass bolts, a guage, a name plate, munson rings and a couple of other fittings )
Darrell is bending a couple of bits of pipe for me hopefully this evening
As soon as it is even approaching what it will look like I will post a picture :-)

Folding step from wickes. £5. Great very sturdy, hope going to help me getting out of the MH passenger side.( Partial knee replacement) so hopefully will help the steel drop

Got a call today to say our new trailer is ready for uplift. Heading down to Englandshire next week to collect. Its a lightweight Woodford trailer gross 1600kg with a payload of 1200kgs, perfect for our Smart for four.

After some consultation on Motorhomefun, I went ahead and bought a Dometic CF 16 compressor fridge for my micro campervan. I've just tested it for 5 days away, set at 5 degrees and fed by a 50 watt solar panel (no EHU). I am hugely impressed by its performance as I really anticipated having to buy a bigger solar panel.

Shurflo accumulator! Terrific purchase, pump has quietened and the little bit of pulsing has stopped.

Twin fridge fan with auto/manual control panel to help the ageing Dometic fridge fitted in the van. Trigas alarm for fairly obvious reasons. Two new LED reading lights with USB ports for the kids bunk-beds.

Oh....and we paid for the van today as well!! Picking up Tuesday!
