THIS week I bought

I can't believe I am about to type the following ... this week I bought (on-line) Excilor Fungal Nail paint. I have taken a photo of my infected nail (which I will not be posting on here) because I want to see if it makes any difference. I don't hold out a lot of hope because everything else I have tried has been useless. Per millilitre these potions must be the most expensive liquid on the market.

Why not try just soaking your feet in a bowl every night with warm water and diluted Dettol. I did this for myold mum when I cared for her and it actually worked. :)
As an added benefit it might give him immunity from CV! :giggle:

Decided this week to finally install an awning light which according to the makers, EuraMobil, is pre wired. Their problem is that around 2010 they had a catastrophic fire destroying all their records and as mine is 2009 they are unsure if the later models are internally the same wiring. Needed to look for a set of cables marked "vorzeltlight" but finding the beggar in the forest of cables tightly tucked behind some trim in a nightmare. Researched CBE and contacted the EuraMobil factory who are very helpful, in English, and it seems that the CBE system has a reinstalled wiring which I can tap into so decided that rather than spend hours hunting for the cable to put in twin core from the Distribution Box. Both EuraMobil and CBE wiring diagrams seem to agree on the connection. The batteries neg and pos are found inside the distribution box and all circuits are fused so don't need to go any further. I am using a length of 3volt LED strip stuck under the awning from a cheap system that used a solar supply independent of the van 12 volt but could not find a place to place the panel so sourced a 12v to 3v Buck transformer. The CBE system has a dedicated awning light switch so will hope it all works when I get to install it all - fingers crossed
I would also like to install a cruise control system but need to save the pennies for that. anyone any experience of doing that on a Euro4 Ducato 130 multijet?

Something to do with the fact that they are metric sizes, and our plumbing -and many other countries- is still in imperial?

I think the hose fittings use a bs111 nbr 70 o ring, I think......

Bought a Nasa BM-1 battery monitor online, and a Victron 75/15 off a fellow funster

And yet even more cables to finish the wiring off

I did not buy it today (life as it is) but needed some 'O' rings and washers to fix a leaking hose connection. As luck would have it I have a box full of both, dozens of the things from Lidles or Aldi or even 'QD' and would you believe it, with perhaps a hundred to choose from, none fit. To date I have from time to time needed 'O' rings or washers and never yet found one that fits anything.
o rings come in two sizes too big and too small

New tv arrived ????

TYRE INFLATOR: having read through numerous reviews I settled for this one, several funsters pointed this one out. A neat addition, as you can see given it a go. Did 3 tyres on first charge of battery increasing pressure by .30bar on each tyre. Not sure if that is good/bad but did job and has a lead for operating from socket in MHome. INFLATING the DREAM SMUDGER55

That looks a bit more convenient than the 10ft lead I need to use on my 12v compressor to reach the rear wheels of the van. Also looks like it could do the tyres on my road bike that I run at about 100psi so, although it takes up a bit more room than the compressor, I could leave the track pump at home. Thanks for sharing.

It's a pleasure, good luck

New dressing gown, when putting the recycling out last week my neighbour across the road was doing the same thing he was wearing 'leisure pj's' I was in my old loved dressing gown and was so embarrassed a getting caught out in it.
And whilst I was there a new bike cover for Van. In the hope that I can use it shortly.

If nothing pops out, you're properly dressed. If something pops out ....

Too close for comfort, as it is supposed to be lovely thick towelling and there is no towel left on the back end but just a light weight cotton now!! M&S sale about 18 years ago so.....for the curtesy towards my neighbours:moon2:

A new door seal for the fridge. The old one was 20 years old and looks how I feel. Electrolux RM4291L. The one with a full width freezer box and the wheel arch cut-out. Company called FridgesealDirect. Choose the profile and measure twice. They do the rest. £40.60 Inc p&p and vat.

A self generating ignition for my Classic Yamaha Race bike restoration project, along with some new rear sets

Whilst the bike should be ready for a thrash in a few weeks, I'm not sure it will be allowed ?

Picked this up yesterday. It’s 44 years old and unbelievably a 4 berth!
We’re going to change the colour, put decking at the front and reconfigure the interior. Mrs A will be using it as a sewing room.

The door isn’t at an angle, camera phones do strange things to straight lines!

Love the idea. Hope you'll do 'after' pics as well.
