Rally Thetford Bash is all go !!!

Thanks John. I was originally riding to a biking rally in Portugal but had to cancel that due to pain in my hand.
Now I can barely drive the car. I was really looking forward to my first meet but a couple of weeks ago I used a club hammer to bash a brick out of the bottom of my garden wall to allow my hedgehog family to wander. Ever since then my forefinger and knuckle have been swollen and extremely painful. I saw the doc Monday as it was getting worse and had an X-ray yesterday morning. The Radiographer said it looks like my finger is either dislocated or the joint is chipped/fractured and a specialist will write a report to my doc 'within a week'. The first app't I could get to see my doc was May 24th., then he's away on hol for two weeks so no treatment likely that would enable me to drive the m/h to Thetford.

Aaaargh! Very fed up.

Several children of various ages attending, and it is a great meet for dogs

Our grandson (13) and one of his mates will be coming, as said a few kids on site so they will have others to play with.
Big field so things like bikes, footballs, kites (if windy) can all be used.
We can always get them involved with some games like..

Who can empty the toilet cassette the fastest.
Who can carry the most water from the tap.
etc.

Course you can.. But be aware ! We are going to be in the middle of a dry forest in ( hopefully ) hot dry weather.
Take extra care with sparks and dispose of ashes only when cold enough to hold in the hand

Oh my goodness only just seen that we can arrive early (like 2 days) and leave late, shame I've got the dentist Tuesday but will most definitely arrive early is the time still 1.25 pm, this will be our first rally we've really been looking forward to it so see you all there. We're the ones with a white fluffy dog and the baby spaniel.

Simples.. Ask if she is happy to spark up the pit, and place all her best frocks next to it.. If the answer is an honest yes, then go for it
As long as the grass is not buggered under it no probs
