Blowing a gale here in Kingsbridge, South Devon. At least it's sunny, we had torrential rain yesterday, and a power cut at about 5.30pm. Was going to have fish and chips but they shut, when the power went off....
 
Heavy gusts up to 50mph and constant light showers near Ilford in Essex.

It's our eldest daughters surprise 40th birthday party today and the wind is currently trying to rip the Gazebo apart.

Too many guests for inside so I'm hoping the wind eases. ??.
 
In Cheshire - windy and rainy but strangely very warm - had to choice between walking dogs in t shirt and getting very wet or walking in t shirt and waterproofs and cooking - I cooked. Alot of the outdoor events round here have been cancelled or postponed

What times the party? It is supposed to calm down a lot 4 to 5 ish.

We had that at Whitby on the Pickering rally - power to the whole area went off - all the pubs and shops just shut up - very surreal

Starting at 1 unfortunately, can't run a late one as we have our infant granddaughters staying with us so need an early bed time.
 
Was quite prepared for torrential rain and it hasn't come. It's windy but not that bad. Is Cropredy still going Petew ??

Anyone going on a ferry from Dover today, take your sick pills! 30mph winds and extremely choppy sea. DFDS ferry needed tug to get into its bay.
 
A bit overcast 17c no wind or rain in Balmedie so have been power washing the drive.

Blowing V Hard all the way from Rotherham to Norfolk Broads. Had to stop at Spalding for a breakfast to calm my nerves ?
 
its been lovely here at home all day up until 10 min ago..Thunder and lightening followed by a heavy shower.

Anytime is fine, the prosecco is all gone but there's still loads of decent red & white and a good seelction of beers, but you'll need to bring your own glass, the washer - upper (me) is out of hours now ?
