So the weather is the same today, maybe I won't get the photos I wanted which is a shame because in the bay in front of the van are the 'bateas' which is where they cultivate most of the mussels you guys eat in the UK and which are the best in the world.

We did get to the workshop for the LPG installation though and I will post some details in the appropriate section (gas maybe?). So all is good. No idea where we are going tomorrow, I'll look at a map later, for now one or two whiskies and a siesta. Happy vanning everyone 😀

Third day at this site basically because the habitation door would no longer close or lock so I have spent a couple of hours taking it all apart to get to the locks which were badly adjusted and starting to seize (after only 4 months). So with a bit of engineering skill and a can of WD40 I was able to get everything good again and we can now close and lock the door. After all this strain and hard work, management took the decision to have a nice lunch, so we did.

I think you’ll find that most places in the UK use Scottish mussels 👍😁😉

A lazy day in Jerez today. Will be looking at the route later to see where we go and where we will stay tomorrow.

Enjoying your travels, thanks for posting. I hope your missus is not talking too loudly on her phone, there’s another thread where someone is not happy with this type of behaviour 😀

Tomorrow off to Vilanova de Arousa, let's see if the rain holds off a little. Yes I know I said I wished it would rain and I really do love it, but you can't do much sightseeing while it's pi**ing down and the missus is fed up with it. So a couple of days of sun and then it can rain again 😀

We managed to get away today and travelled to Vilanova de Arousa, around 60km down round the rias. We are at a nice motorhome specific site just outside the town for €16 the night with all the services including electricity. Tomorrow on to O Grove.

The owners have diversified their business model and have a food truck that is used in weddings and fiestas in the area.

As you can appreciate, the sun has not yet made an appearance but there is no rain and the temperature is 18ºC which is fine.

Wasn't all just food though, O Grove is a fabulous town and everybody should visit it at lease once before dying. Here are some photos of the ria where the shellfish comes from and also the paseo marítimo.

We parked up in a public car park on the isle of Toja, just across the bridge from the town. This is not on P4N and albeit a car park, there are 16 motorhomes here right now and I'm sure more will arrive later. There are no services except rubbish bins but it's a flat area and seems secure, the police have passed by 3 or 4 times since we arrived.

That looks perfect. One of those fiestas municipales that are worth visiting (y) 🐙🍷
It really is fabulous. We had all that shellfish and wine, a beer too, for only €75.
