According to Auto Express if you have a bulk standard engine, use standard fuel, and every 1000 miles or so fill up with a Super/ Premium fuel, this applies to petrol and Diesel vehicles to desoot /clean up engine they say pointless always using high grade fuels unless you have a high performance vehicle.
I do not agree with Auto Express then.

So here we are in Seville and as cyberyacht predicted, at Puerto Gelves. A nice port with all the services for €20 a night. Had some lovely food too, in a restaurant in the same port.

Today we arrived at Monesterio, a small town in Badajoz. We are at a free area with all the services provided by the local council and there is a large Spar supermarket next door. It's a bit dirty here to be honest, but quiet and secure, so we'll stay the night and continue tomorrow to Mérida.

We got up early this morning for an early start as it seems we have been too relaxed and might not make our appointment with the gas guy in Galicia. So today we have travelled 160km, we didn't stop in Cáceres (we probably will on the way back down) or Plasencia. Tomorrow we will not stop at Salamanca either because I think we need at least 2 days there to really appreciate it, so that'll be another for the return journey. So we have stopped in Béjar, Castilla y León, for lunch and the night. A free area provided by the local council, that includes fresh water, grey and black emptying and bins but no electricity. It's very nice, level and peaceful and there are another 15 or so motorhomes already. I imagine more will arrive later. On arrival it was still raining but this afternoon the sun is shining again.

Puebla de Sanabria, Zamora today. It's one of only 5 CCP sites in Spain right now and certainly is not the most beautiful area, but for €5 a night you get fresh water and black and grey disposal and wifi (albeit slow), so not all bad. The surrounding area is fantastic, with a river just 50 metres away.
