Should be fitted at top blowing out so extracting the heat from the exchanger.

They are an option on the 10 series Dometic fridge/freezer, or they are/were on the Morelo price list, they fit Siemens or Bosch domestic compressor FF on a small inverter now.

€190, they are specific for the 10 series and difficult to fit afterwards apparently.

Yes I'm replacing the paste behind fins tooGood opportunity to scrap off and renew the paste behind the fins also, which needs doing after a few years as it dries out.
You can also buy those 12V temp controllers in their own self contained box enclosures, you need 2 of them one for the external fans, & one for the internal fan.
Then you can have fun and games setting up "The Sweet Spot" for them to turn on/off which takes some time to get right, depending on individual FF performance.
I cant find the exact ones we used but here is a similar one, with temp probe, below.

You can buy the dometic kit for about £90, it just plugs in.
