That was the first thing I checked out when I had the same problem in Spain, ie, getting the Boss to rev up to 3000rpm, while I was underneath lubricating the wastegate actuator as it operated.Did tell him ages ago check the wastegate

Unfortunately, that wasn't the problem.
As mention a good few pages ago, it turned out to be a loss of pressuredue to a tiny hole in the large turbo boost pipe to the intercooler, which I was unable to identify. IVECO Blanes soon found it though.
Cheers,
Jock.
Yes same here, got the mrs to rev engine after I’d sprayed tons of lubricant on the pivot, then used a hammer to reach, holding the hammer head and pushing against the bottom of the handle to free it up as mentioned though it was the vacuum that had failed on mineThat was the first thing I checked out when I had the same problem in Spain, ie, getting the Boss to rev up to 3000rpm, while I was underneath lubricating the wastegate actuator as it operated.

Or stick a bit of electrician's tape over it.Take the bulb out.
You could stick some duct tape on and see if it makes a difference?I found the red/orange hose to the turbo has a cut in it and could be leaking but not sure, we will try to get a replacement
But the dogs can’t see out to bark at passers byI'm bringing Tams thread back to doggies here for a bit.... and with what I've been up to today, so any PVC owners with fur babies have a wee look at this it's even better than something of Blue Peter!..... of course its not 1 size fits all you have to make it according to your pup size lol (and here it is being demonstrated by my crew, Iggy, Hector & Bleu)

Brilliant idea. We bought a tension rod baby stair gate for our 40kg Labradoodle. He never once pushed on it or tried to get out.I'm bringing Tams thread back to doggies here for a bit.... and with what I've been up to today, so any PVC owners with fur babies have a wee look at this it's even better than something of Blue Peter!..... of course its not 1 size fits all you have to make it according to your pup size lol (and here it is being demonstrated by my crew, Iggy, Hector & Bleu)

Oi you, watch it.If it is the hose I hope he buys a new one but we know how tight Scots are.
A NEW ONE!!!If it is the hose I hope he buys a new one but we know how tight Scots are.
The gate part is just 5mm acrylic sheet i cut to size, and the groves are 8mm aluminium U channel,CaptainPaul thats great. Very professional looking. What is the gate part made of? And where did you get the grove things?
We desperately need something to stop Millie launching herself out through the fly screen whenever she sees a cat!
The waste gate bellows attach to a rod that goes to the actual wastegate. The end opposite to where it attaches you can usually use a 6" shifting spanner slid over the lever at the opposite end & lever in the direction that the rod is pointing to away from the bellows. I hope that makes sense? If not I'll video on my spare turbo & send to Tam on wassap.Actuator= wastegate….
That certainly wouldn't helpAir filter is old and was full of crap
Paul the top edges of the channel need rounding off if you slip and fall against them you could get a nasty injuryI'm bringing Tams thread back to doggies here for a bit.... and with what I've been up to today, so any PVC owners with fur babies have a wee look at this it's even better than something of Blue Peter!..... of course its not 1 size fits all you have to make it according to your pup size lol (and here it is being demonstrated by my crew, Iggy, Hector & Bleu)

I'll get onto that tomorrowPaul the top edges of the channel need rounding off if you slip and fall against them you could get a nasty injury
Nice that
Wastewater on this is nothing like the fiat ducato one . Harder to reach . And not as easy to move the actuatorDid tell him ages ago check the wastegate
But realistically, with your low usage of leccy, and reasonable solar, how often would you be putting 30ah in.Everybody knows I know sod all about electrics.
So I go by what others tell me.
Just smiffy van is 6 metres. His starter battery and leisure battery are at opposite ends , he bought his xs50amp controller from off grid and they supplied him with 16mm square cable . So as mine is 4/4.5 metres I assumed 16mm would do mine. Especially as I won't be running the b2b at the 50amp limit I'll be reducing it to 30amp.
Everybody kens by now that leccy ain't my strong point , I can add lights , sockets blah blah blah but volts , currents, amps etc etc are completely lost on me.
Only on the fiat ducato Richard. The wastegate on the iveco is nothing like it unfortunately. So you can't do the spanner trick. I had to constantly free the one off on the euramobil . The iveco turbo etc is twice the size of the fiat . It's a big mitherThe waste gate bellows attach to a rod that goes to the actual wastegate. It is, nice looking body word, looks well lovedNice that
Looks silver . But like those colour coded headlights
All that I had to hand Garry was silicone spray, but I was totally conscious of the fact that I was spraying on to hot components, so very wary and prepared to deal with any consequences as a result. What lubricant did you use Jock..?
Tam might have thought your post funny Lenny, but I didn't. You've clearly not met many Scots in your lifetime, nor been a recipient of their generosity, so please keep your snide and racist comments to yourself. Thank you.If it is the hose I hope he buys a new one but we know how tight Scots are.
Yes I checkedNice that
