The resurrection of Doc, bringing a 20 year old neismann Bischoff Flair back to life after 12 years off road.

What was the layout Tam in that auto sleeper for such a small van but with a toilet and shower.

I quite miss our 5.59 metre Murvi at times toilet and shower and lovely sofa

It had the small bathroom across the rear in the extended bit then kitchen on one side ,wardrobe and fridge on the other then a sofa opposite side door with a jump seat .. bed could be 2 singles or a double using cab seats too .

Bed wasn't the most comfy but overall it was a good wee van .

That’s a point…. It may disappear in France….🤔
When I was going abroad with my sidecar outfit I used to adjust sidecar so it was easy over the channel. Was touch and go that my shoulders would hold out with constant pull getting to Dover, at least til I fitted leading links 😂😂

If anyone else needs alignment done at somepoint and struggles to find a garage then this was the guy who did the job .

Seemed a nice guy names matt, happy to explain what he was doing etc . Based in Maidstone but fully mobile .. has all the gear.

This is where the wheel sits when driving... that's how it went when I reversed in to drive not holding the wheel.

It's annoying as you can't see the stalk with wipers cruise control etc on it .
When driving forward though if I left the wheel like that I'd end up in the hedge...I've to push it up to hold it almost level to drive straight. View attachment 971389

that’s would drive me round the bend

the left hand bend lol

I was also thinking unless it’s a race car , I didn’t think you could track the rear wheels
It’s a solid diff & didn’t think there was any adjustment where it attaches to the van

I can’t help but think you centre & lock the steering wheel first then adjust tracking accordingly
He did centre the steering wheel. Jacked van up turned steering wheel till it sat straight then adjusted both sides on track rods to align it with the lasers he had bolted to front wheels with mirrors set across the rear and front of the van .

And set it at 5mm difference between front of tyre and rear of tyre .

According to iveco forum they say 1/8th of an inch so its a little bit different.

Only had front ones adjusted . I'm not sure how the rear Is done as I've never seen it

It will be driving like a new van, straight down the line at top speed with the remap. 👍
Must admit I could not live with that steering wheel out of line like it was. Would upset my Yin & Yan. 🫣
I'm hoping so

This is the remap claims

I'll start the bidding at 39995 ... do I hear 40k 😁
Ha Ha, despite all your efforts successfully resurrecting Doc, you've got no chance.

Cheers,

Jock. ;)

P.S. I hope that you are pleasantly chuffed with tomorrows test drive, after the re-alignment and the chipping. (y)

Just think of the stuff you got with this van and sold , that would cover the cost for tracking
I’m sure rose tinted glass would see you full timing in that Autosleeper but in reality I’m not so sure.

Manic, Tam could find a £20 note on the ground coming out of the supermarket and winge all day that he left a £1 coin in the trolly….😆🤣😂

He’s terrible Kenny, I had to give him a few bollickings to put him straight, Tams glass is definitely half empty…😆🤣🤪

But when things are going right for him he’s like a little boy who’s found a bright new penny and all excited…😃🤣😂

I know.. but £150 hurts if it doesn't make any difference. That's more than a tyre cost lol.

And more than a new pair of Monroe shock absorbers.

If it fixes the problem then overall I'll be happy as it should be more pleasant ri drive. If it doesn't it's shit
It’s hard being Scottish in todays world 🤪
I just discovered tunnocks caramel wafers in Sainsbury’s Plymouth at £2.75 for an 8 pack 😐
Disgusting as it’s only £1.65 at home 🤪
