The resurrection of Doc, bringing a 20 year old neismann Bischoff Flair back to life after 12 years off road.

These people are in Northants, apologies if they have been suggested before.

Bit of a difference in quality & service.
Many years ago Asda dabbled in selling proper jewellery. Their strap line was “there’s nothing romantic about paying too much”.

I took my lens prescription to a place called the spectacle factory which is on a local industrial estate. The chap there said they made glasses for the likes of Specsavers and Asda etc using the same quality frames and lenses.

As with most manufacturers.

I've met people who actually think shops like Marks and Spencer has a massive factory somewhere that makes all their products. Truth is many are made in the same factories as the items in asda and home bargains . Only the packaging and the labels change.

Somethings are obviously different.

Frames for glasses though .... hmm

The £15 frame I bought for my readers yesterday looks remarkably similar to the £130 converse frame on my seeiers but without the 5mm badge . 🤣

Typically the obd cable from ebay has arrived today despite the tracking stating it was in Hatfield distribution centre since Monday.

So I'll end up with two . Unless the guy doing the remap wants to buy one from me for his toolkit.

And another little gadget I bought that some might like .

Now beware as someplaces try to charge £20- 25 for these ...ie Instagram where I first saw them . But I bought this on ebay £7.99. Usb rechargeable , works as a torch or a hanging lantern, and has a pull out retractable string of fairy lights 8 meters long ...ideal for around your wind out canopy if sitting outside. They can flash ,chase or just stay on permanent.

I don't know if it still the same nowadays but many years ago when I lived in Lowestoft friends who worked at the Co-op canning factory said that when they had a production run to do for Marks and Sparks an M&S inspector would turn up and the whole place had to be be cleaned down, all the machinery etc. Then the inspector would observe the entire production run for their products so everything had to be spot on. Receipes might be tweaked a bit but mostly the same food, just tighter quality control.

Nonsense uncle lenny those are fantastic when sat outside of an evening.

And they don't use any battery power
Or need EHU🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't think a Carthago would suit you, our 143 must have more lights than Blackpool.

Many years ago I worked at a print factory in Derbyshire and one of the customers we printed fabrics for was M&S. The quality control was done by our own people but it was a lot stricter than for other customers. All that said you could buy the seconds cheap off the markets

Does the OBD reader fit and will the end fit on his laptop, or is it Bluetooth?

Fox's biscuits the same, Aldi, Lidl, M and S, Harrods to name a few. they change the quality of the flour ( or are supposed to ) depending on who they are making biccies for

It fits my socket yeah ... and the other end is standard 16 pin obd so should fit whatever he uses
Let's hope the two ends are connected correctly.
😃
