yes it’s an hotel just down from the Rock n Roll bar

Not sure if it’s cheaper for long stays

Were in Benidorm to and we love it. We have been coming here for years and there is something for everyone. We often go on the bus to Albir to the many good restaurants and the bus only costs 1.55 euros each way.

When I get a newer motorhome and can afford air conditioning, we will definitely make the journey . Maybe take the ferry ⛴ to Santander and then drive down

We stayed in an apartment just off the road of your first picture.

As we walked up the road there was a huge sign that read “ SEX SHOP” and our front door was just beyond it.

Not great when you have a 10 year old with you.

It was a dodgy sex shop too - no I didn’t go in.

“Dodgy Sex Shop” Are there proper ones then and if so How do you tell the difference ?

You don't need a new motorhome to tour Europe,,Mine is 20 years old next year and we manage two trips to Spain/Portugal every year,For air con we open our windows..BUSBY.

Yes as said it's a hotel ,, we where looking on "on the beach" and we managed to get the flights , transfers , luggage . 4 weeks and all inclusive for 1200 each,,,,,at that price and over new year it would be rude not to book

China garden, Yeu always remembers us instantly even with the mask on, she brought us some more wine free so we left a good tip.

The meal was spot on:
Soup starters.
Chicken pineapple, pork and ginger, fried rice, noodles, 1.5 bottles of wine . And ice cream to finish off.

Went to see Beatles at 12 but they aren't on until Saturday

Wife, sorry the chef, had a really good haircut by a tattooed hairdresser guy at the indoor market, better than she gets at home and half the price.

It's not the type of place that I would like to stay more than a week, and had never been, but since it was on the Tele I always wanted to go and have a look if it really was like that , anyway for my birthday a couple of years ago Julie booked it up and I really had no idea where we were going till we got to booking in at East mids.
Well we were in an hotel in the old town and couldn't believe it was the same place, as good as a normal seaside town anywhere, and some of the restaurants are fantastic.
We did do a tour of the other side and really it was quite tame to what we were expecting and didn't feel out of it anywhere we went.
And as to the singers , some of them are brilliant but if you don't like one ,you can always move on , there will be another around the corner.
We actually saw a girl with a band and when they had a break she played an electronic organ on her own, and I don't think I have heard anything better, all
the old fifties things like Jerry Lee Lewis type stuff.
She was tremendous, don't know if she is still there, perhaps some of you have seen her.
But to dismiss it out of hand for what you think it's like is just not on.

I have never said or even implied that I hate Benidorm, I have stayed there several times over the last 25 years and enjoyed most of them, there are parts of Benidorm that we like and some we don't, like most things in life.

If you like it or anyone else likes it then carry on, lots do, makes no difference to me, I make my own mind up about things by experience.

I have spent the last 30 years touring France, Spain, Portugal with the odd visit to other European countries and have visited most parts of those countries.

Regarding Spain in particular I have eaten, drank and joined in with the locals in more bars than you can shake a stick at so yes, I do think that I am entitled to voice my opinion on Benidorm or any of the other places that I have visited whether my my view is positive or negative it will be my opinion based on experience.

I see that you needed to edit your post presumably because of personal comments aimed at me, does it bother you so much that other people may have a different opinion to yourself.
