Just near Peterborough, about a 4 hour drive for me but looks nice.
Adults only has its own cafe that opens evenings also plus a few pubs down in the local village and plenty of walking trails around.

Yesterday swmbo got proper stressed due to being home so long, so this morning I woke her up early and took her for a drive we took the scenic route from Northampton to Lakenheath and Snetterton before going to see a mate in Bedfordshire. You know where your going then
Enjoy the drive down, very sunny here today and forecast looks pretty good. Roads are quiet at the moment but I suspect that will all change tomorrow!Cl site for us tomorrow in sunny Cornwall. Can’t wait
FREEDOM DAYI am of course referring to our motorhomes being released from captivity on 12th April, not the start of red grouse shooting on 12th August.
Tomorrow we set off for a booked CL not too far from home. Thereafter we have further bookings that take us from Dorset to Northumberland. Today feels like the last day of term with a long break to look forward to. Adding a few miles to our underused second home with wheels feels long overdue.
Good luckGood luck to all of you getting out and about. Don't envy the potential traffic jams.
Hoping we will be booking into a hotel near Heathrow after lunch...............that's if they let us on the bloody plane in a couple of hours.
Have fun all.
The madness has started . M5 at a standstill alreadyI'm going to sit at home and watch the live traffic cams on the M4/M5.
