@Onemanandhisdog PS. That is a crazy weight for a dog! I struggle to hold on to our girl when she's in full tilt, I can't imagine trying to hang on to +90KG at 20mph

That's the pair of them, but there is a new kid on the block who at 10 months is 66kg on his own, but still as soft as anything!

Our Zippy is a rescue dog, five and a half years old, had him since he was eighteen months old and is a Yorkie/Chihuahua cross. Had dogs most of our married life but we seem to be more attached to this one, not sure if it is because he is much smaller than the others so can cuddle him more.

I’m so sorry - I didn’t know there was a pets section.

Won’t bother you all again.

No one has reported this thread Janine and if they did they'd be ignored :D

As for the wrong section  Here's Jazz with the last person who tried to be a moderator here :D

Our first dog in 1989, Lady, passed away in 1991 aged 16

Her replacement as a rescue puppy, Gypsy Lady, 1991 passed away 2/2/02 and our last dog, too upsetting and we had decided to start travelling, I had a dog all my life until that point.

@Janine Thankyou for starting the thread i have really enjoyed seeing members loved 4 legged friends. Lost our last dog 20 years ago and still miss him. Owing to moving and with work commitments at that time we decided not to own anymore dogs.
We have just had granddaughter’s 6 month old Springer Spaniel for week over Christmas out for 2 hours a day around national trust estate or on beach, he loved it so did we.. Missed him when we took him back.

Lovely thread Janine, we haven't had a dog for many years but we had a Boxer for 10 years loved her dearly, will always have a soft spot for Boxers.

Wounded soldier feeling sorry for herself. Routine vet visit for health check and jabs yesterday - all OK. I anticipated the worst case post Brexit travel requirements. So she gave blood for a rabies blood test certificate, which has to be three months before travel. It was only a leg full but you’d think it was major surgery. So £172 later.........

This is ours taking over a friends cat bed, she’d been rolling around in it like a hermit crap.
