Me 1985 driving the divorce settlement, a very black TR6, on the way to South of France and Italy with my new voluptuous girlfriend for a 5 week tour. I never learned my lesson until 2003......

When Eurodisney had it's own site. Each pitch with ehu, picnic bench, waste bin, hardstanding and this was December 1992. The van was a Talbot based Kon Tiki 600/5 when Brownhills were excellent and the Swift van fantastic.
We used that site a few times in our caravan days

With some of the money earned driving for Lyons Maid in the summer of 1970 I bought my first car a Wolseley 15/50[leather seats and trafficators], here outside St. George's Church, a Saxon Church near View attachment 996348Middleton One Row, in November 1970.
I had the equivalent - MG Magnette, about 1964.

Views of Rotherham,
1. Doncaster Gate hospital - no longer there.
2. Typical miners bath time.
3. Waiting for the bus to Sheffield.
4. Town centre - now a pedestrian precinct and largely deserted.

I was in Doncaster gate hospital twice as a kid in the Queens ward👍👍
I remember Rotherham town centre from about 1971 we used to catch the 02 bus to maltby outside the army stores opposite the then new indoor market, before it moved to outside the Dolcis shoe shop!
My favourite shop was Coopers toy shop of course👍

Ben Nevis, our first Munro, (Scottish mountain over 3000 feet) in 1981, before we knew what a Munro was.
And the 284th and last one Sgurr Alisdair, on Skye, 2001.
Took around ten years to do them once we’d started
