When Eurotunnel made it financially viable to use them, Ashford KFC was ideal to eat sous la manche if you got on quickly.

It is in our top (only) 2 of quick food with a really dirty kebab

KFC in France don’t do chicken on the bone..😱😱😱 only in Paris the server told me apparently… hence why I’ve never had kfc in France…😎

I am a big junk food fan. Burger King is my favourite but perfectly happy with McDonalds. I don’t go to KFC by choice but my wife likes their Zinger burgers so I sometimes get dragged in.

I have about 3 or 4 Maccy D's a year, I've never eaten a Subway as it just looks too processed as does anything from Domino's. I can't think of any takeaway that will be particularly healthy, but they're probably ok in moderation ? At Chester last week, there was a place specialising in falafel, I don't mind chickpeas, but not sure I would be interested in them as a takeaway ?
A chicken or shish kebab with salad in a pitta is probably as healthy as any of them ?

Italian meatballs I have at subway but haven’t had one for a year or so, love kebabs but haven’t had one of those for around a year either, can’t remember when I last had a takeaway pizza… I only probably have a takeaway once a month or two, generally when I’ve been busy and can’t be arsed to cook

We dont like KFC, or McDonalds, but yes we do miss The Little Chef at Podimore A303, The service was sometimes slow, but The Olympic Breakfast with extra toast was great, especially on a wet, windy day, which was often the case on the way down West.
It would seem there are many of us that would not visit these two fast food venues, however it always surprises me to see the long queues of cars, some with families inside, nearly every day, including last Easter Sunday. They have a business formula that somehow works, and they are spread all over the world nowadays and have become even more successful.
Facts That I have witnessed:
In The Caribbean KFC & McD is the cheapest form of food, so many of the locals eat it every day, one reason for the high level of Diabetes, I was told.
China levels of obesity in teenage children went through the roof as the youngsters prefer KFC, McD to Chinese food, saw a TV documentary on that a couple of years back.
Its the amount of fizzy Coke that doesn't help either, especially as you are encouraged to "Go Large" when ordering.
Luckily we now have the MH, so we can stop and cook up what ever we want, 2 Bacon Rolls and a mug of tea normally for me, then I can sit back & smile think these days, I have just saved myself the best part of a Tener!(y):giggle::coffee:
LES
PS: I am now off to Sainsburys, The Cat needs crunchies, and I will think of you lot as I witness the long queues of cars outside McD's;)

It must be several years since I had a Mac Donald’s and not a fan and prefer a Burger King if I have a burger, but I do love Mac’s milkshake…😎

Now that's what you call a proper burger they are awesome, all the Uncle Sam's are franchises run by people who have worked at an Uncle Sam's. I think the original one in Monpelier road Brighton is still there. We have 3 within a few miles of home.

No to chinese...Not since Covid. My protest.
Subway..nice but got more expensive.
KFC ok..would love if they did zinger flavour mini fillets. Can’t eat a full 20 hot wings bucket.
Chinese food places mostly seem to be cash only these days. What’s that all about, a tax dodge? If they’re not paying their way, they ain’t getting my money as much as I love a good chinese.

If you like a Chinese takeaway, check out this Scots lad on YouTube. He took up deliveries at the start of Covid and then started quizzing the chefs about ingredients and techniques. https://m.youtube.com/results?sp=mAEA&search_query=alex+wilkie
I cut back on the sugar in nearly all the of the recipes and you don't need the outdoor wok burner he has, but I would like one !
