The best KFC view in the worldā€¦

After some of the stuff they find and eat while running around it makes the burger look appealingšŸ¤¢šŸ¤¢

Ha ha, yes I guess you are right there, but I wouldn't add to it by disposing of unwanted human crap into their bellies, simply because of all the salt and other additives that are present.

obviously fast food isn't for everyone, but would you agree that the view across to the mount is beautiful?
and to me its a very spiritual place, rather wish i could click my fingers and get transported there now..

.
Absolutely, and I thank my lucky stars every time I see the Mount and walk the beach, which is a regular occurrence. (y)

I did a liquidation of a chicken farm once that was a major supplier to the fast food fried chicken industry. If I wasnā€™t a fan before then, I certainly wasnā€™t after!

I think if people went into the kitchens of most restaurants they wouldnā€™t eat there either ā€¦šŸ˜†šŸ˜Ž

I had my first KFC 6 years ago when we had been out all day looking for a new MH. We sat and ate it in the car I was so hungry and very grateful it was lovely, I sat in the front seat and was picking off the spicy skin and feeding just the chicken to my drooling dog on the back seat:giggle:

On the rare occasion I have a KFC, I always microwave it for a minute just to be sure it's cooked. Got caught out once that way and was feeling queasy for a while.

KFC is my guilty pleasure, I absolutely love it , the hot wings are delicious and I adore the coating . šŸ‘

Once the Little Chefs were killed off, we used McDonalds as a reliable stop on long journeys. Parking available, toilets (normally clean), coffee ok and food the children would eat without an argument. O and free Wifi.

Lovely view from your van there :)

I used to be a real snob about fast food chains, but Iā€™m a recent convert. I got fed up with being ripped off for crap food in tourist traps and motorway services. Wrap of the day at McDonalds is always good and extraordinarily value, Their coffee is good at a fraction of the price of Starbucks, Costa et al. Favourite KFC is a zinger burger - spicy chicken fillet, yum! If you really want to pig out go for the ā€˜towerā€™ which includes a hash brown. Easily beats anything from Gregā€™s or a freezing cold sandwich from pret a manger. My only disappointment on my fast food voyage of discovery is Burger King chips!

A KFC opened in Preston in the early 0's directly opposite the Cinema, the same week that they were showing Chicken Run. I realy think that the KFC should have put up a sign saying "You've seen the film. Now eat the cast"

I loved the little Chefs and the Wimpyā€™s and customer service was always how it should be. It was a highlight of the journey..šŸ˜Ž

Always use to start the holidays off at the little thiefā€™s on the way down to Cornwall when kids were youngeršŸ˜šŸ˜
Ringwood was our breakfast stop and then another on the way back but cannot remember the name of thatšŸ˜šŸ˜

Wow. KFC thereā€¦..

I honestly donā€™t know what to say. šŸ˜‚

Bloody hell if I wasn't a foodie snob before I am now....

Does anyone remember Mark Spurlock who embarked on the challenge in February 2003, to eat nothing else only McDonalds but over the course of the next 30 days he deteriorated rapidly, as he consumed 5,000 calories a day - twice as many as recommended as part of a balanced diet.
Within the first fortnight, he experienced a rapid decline in his health, with doctors advising him to cut his challenge short.
Spurlock was determined to proceed though, and his body most definitely didn't thank him for it.
By the end, he had gained a whopping 24.5lbs (11.1kg), with his body mass increasing by 13 percent. His cholesterol also increased from 168 to 230 mg/dl, his risk of heart disease doubled, and he experienced near liver failure due to fat deposits.
On top of all of these alarming metrics picked up on by medics, Spurlock also reported chest pains, depression, exhaustion, mood swings, and a diminished sex drive.

Enough said I'm thinking.

I have a KFC about every three months , everything in moderation , if heā€™d done the same challenge with alcohol or heroin the outcomes would have been equally hazardous to his health .

ā€œEverything in moderationā€ - absolutely. I donā€™t suppose eating chocolate bars for several weeks would be advisable either.

Itā€™s years since I had a KFC. However, in the late 70ā€™s/early 80ā€™s it was certainly the food of the gods at 3am after a night in Rotters or Fagins or Tiffanyā€™s or many other similar establishments in Manchester.

It always felt like the holiday had really started when we pulled into a little chef early in the morning for an Olympic Breakfast. I do miss themšŸ™‚

When Eurotunnel made it financially viable to use them, Ashford KFC was ideal to eat sous la manche if you got on quickly.

It is in our top (only) 2 of quick food with a really dirty kebab

I donā€™t do Bergers or coffee takeaways, the only ones I do are kfc, subway and Chinese and itā€™s about once a month if thatā€¦šŸ˜Ž
No to chinese...Not since Covid. My protest.
Subway..nice but got more expensive.
KFC ok..would love if they did zinger flavour mini fillets. Canā€™t eat a full 20 hot wings bucket.

Food snobbery :(
Not really. Happy with Burger King, Greggs, maccy D's sausage egg muffin is great. There is a reason why my local town has plenty of takeaways. But the KFC is definitely to be avoided, and their reviews on places like Just Eat prove it.

Thereā€™s still a wimpy in the centre of Huddersfield, must be one of the last ones left.

Elvis Presley was the first famous person to have died directly as a result of his poor diet. When the opened him up his colon had set like concrete and he burst a blood vessel in his heart trying to "go". It wasn't all drugs etc.

I have about 3 or 4 Maccy D's a year, I've never eaten a Subway as it just looks too processed as does anything from Domino's. I can't think of any takeaway that will be particularly healthy, but they're probably ok in moderation ? At Chester last week, there was a place specialising in falafel, I don't mind chickpeas, but not sure I would be interested in them as a takeaway ?
A chicken or shish kebab with salad in a pitta is probably as healthy as any of them ?
