Helloooo!
It’s been AGES since my last update and I’ve got sooooo much to tell you
The other day we didn’t go to another island after all, we went to somewhere called The Mainland but it didn’t seem any different to the islands we’ve visited to me

The fish farms smell delicious

We finally Anchored in a Bay and it was brilliant . I had my first trip in the tender which I wasn’t keen on getting into and had to be lifted in

We went for a bit of a drive around

Then my human took me to the land and I was very happy to get out for a scramble around in the rocks

I found something disgusting delicious to eat but my human took it off me humans are so boring

That evening there was a very pretty sky

The next morning we all went for another ride in the tender. I didn’t want to get in again
We found a goat which needed barking at, that was brilliant fun

I’ve met goats before on Kalamos but they were behind a fence

This is our big boat. I much prefer it to the little one

We went back to the land again and I had a brilliant game in the shallows, charging between my humans whilst carrying a stick

I was happy to get into the tender this time because I knew we were going back to the big boat. It’s the noisy little engine I don’t like
Later we left the bay to go back to Vathi as we needed something called Diesel for the boat as we might be going somewhere called The Gulf of Patras and my humans don’t know where they’ll be able to get some on our journey.
I was very excited to be going back to Vathi as you can tell

Anyway we only stayed there one night and couldn’t get any diesel, so my humans decided to go just up the coast to Kioni, which is where we are now. Kioni is brilliant . I’ve been to the beach twice, had long stick retrieving and swimming games and apparently we’ll be going again later too

Anyway, it’s time for a nap now so I’ll have lots of energy for my walk later.

Good morning!
I’ve had a brilliant few days in Kioni
We went for dinner

Sadly I was made to sit on the floor when their food came, they seemed to think I wouldn’t be able to control myself and try to eat it - how rude
We’ve had long walks to the beaches and I’ve chased after sticks and swum every day which I LOVE

Yesterday I was confused as my humans went in the water for no apparent reason, not chasing sticks or anything, just splashing around Humans are weird

Today we are going back to Kefalonia, to a place called Agia Effemia as my humans need to do lots of boring things like washing their clothes .
I’m on look out

I’m a bit sad to be leaving lovely Kioni but really looking forward to getting to the next place as I know it’s going to be just as brilliant as everywhere else has been

Good morning everyone!
We’ve been in Agia Effemia for two nights now and I’ve been having a brilliant time
There was no wind at all on the way over so I sat on this comfy seat they’ve put on the coachroof for me with one of my toys for a while.

There’s another beach here but I haven’t got any pictures of it as my humans keep leaving their phones on the boat just can’t get the staff.
They’ve been swimming too and yesterday I went swimming with them for the first time without a stick! It was brilliant and I got lots of cuddles ! I was very tired afterwards though and had to have a nap

However I was fully alert later and guarded them while they were foraging for food

Ooh I nearly forgot. I made a friend A local dog whose humans moved here a little while ago. Her name is Zara and we had a lovely time playing yesterday.

I haven’t been given any breakfast this morning because I was sick earlier My humans say it’s probably because I ate something disgusting on the beach yesterday before they could get to me, but I don’t know what they’re talking about as everything I find to eat is delicious!
Anyway I’m not that bothered about not having any breakfast, I just want to lie here and sleep as I don’t feel that great

Hello again!
I'm happy to report I feel a lot better than I did when I last posted. It was a very short lived thing and entirely due to eating the stick on the beach in Agia Effemia, or so my humans have told me. Apparently the evidence is still being expelled, but I have no idea what they mean
We spent a night in Vathi, Ithaca again because my humans wanted to get me a mat for the floor of the tender so I don't scrabble around so much, then yesterday we moved back to Kioni because we all love it here and it's the weekend so it'll be quiet. I wanted to anchor in the bay near to the beach we all like but my humans said it's going to rain today and it'll be easier on the quay, so here we are.
On the way to Vathi we saw this HUGE boat. It’s called Vanish.

Then we anchored in a bay for lunch. The sea was really clear and I could see the bottom 10 m away - and all the fish!

One of my humans rowed me ashore for some stick throwing games and swimming

I sat on the side drying while they had their lunch

Then later spent a lot of time on the comfy place they’ve put here especially for me

When we got to Kioni yesterday we went for a brilliant walk to the lovely beach

I hope we will go back again today as my humans say the rain they were expecting isn’t going to happen now, which is brilliant .
I’m making lots of human friends on this trip and have met some of them in several different places. They always remember me and I’m always very pleased to see them again

Good morning!
Isn’t life just brilliant

We left Kioni yesterday because it was getting busy again, and went to another brilliant place called Port Leone on the island of Kalamos.
The noisy smelly engine was off most of the way because unusually there was enough wind in the right direction to use the flappy things called sails.

I was very excited that we sailed for such a long time

When we arrived we dropped the heavy thing off the pointy end again. (I think it’s called an anchor but I’m not completely sure as one of my humans used the same word the other day to describe the driver of a charter boat who had crashed into us )
Then they attached two very long lines from the back of the boat to big rocks on the beach.
Next one of my humans took me into the beach and I was very happy to get into the tender this time. Can you see the pretty mat they bought me? I love it

While we were at the beach I made a new friend! His name is Frizo, he’s Dutch and he’s the same size as me but a little bit younger. We had some brilliant chasing games for a very long time. Unfortunately my human left his phone on the big boat again so there aren’t any pictures - humans can be so unreliable .
I needed a very long nap afterwards

Later I had a brilliant tug of war game with one of my humans. I won

Then had another nap on her feet because it was nearly my dinner time and if she moved I’d know and follow her drooling to the room where they keep my dinner.

I had a very long sleep overnight but I’m full of beans now and looking forward to another brilliant play with Frizo

Apparently they leave their phones on the big boat because they’re worried about them getting wet and don’t currently have a waterproof camera - humans are rubbish

We met Frizo and his humans on the beach again and had lots of chasing games and swimming for ages

After playing with Frizo I needed to have another long nap

After which I thought one of my humans had lost her mind when she took my comfy lying place from the coach roof and, after stripping it naked, threw it into the sea !
Then she got a long stick from the aft cabin, climbed on my naked comfy lying place and started paddling around

After I’d got over the initial shock I thought that actually looked quite good fun and I wouldn’t mind having a go myself

It was brilliant fun I could see all the fish and everything!
I also spotted what I thought was a ferocious sea monster heading right for us so stood up, walked around and barked a lot to protect my human. For some reason she wasn’t impressed with this and kept telling me to stay still
Anyway it turned out to be my other human with HUGE glasses on and a stick in his mouth so I leapt off the naked comfy lying place onto him, which he was overjoyed about, I could tell
When we got back to the big boat and the naked comfy place was tied up, I thought I’d get on it on my own but it’s not as much fun without a human working the long stick

Later one of the humans said he was going to catch some fish for dinner. The other one thought that was very funny for some reason
Anyway, he started throwing bits of perfectly good bread into the sea ! I mean, if it’s not needed any more he could at least have given me first refusal - humans can be so rude

He soon gave up - possibly due to me having snaffled most of the bread from behind him while he wasn’t looking

This morning I’ve been jumping in and out of the tender and paddle board without any humans helping me, or sometimes knowing I’d done it. Apparently I should only do it with them there - humans can be so boring

Today we’re going back to Kalamos harbour as they need to do some laundry. It seems running out of clean pants is a problem. Who knew?!
Anyway it’s brilliant there as there’s a nice man called George who owns the restaurant, lots of cats to bark at and a lovely long walk to a brilliant stick throwing and swimming beach

Good morning again!
Sorry I haven’t posted recently, we’ve been having a brilliant time but have had rubbish Wi-Fi
We went back to Kioni for the weekend to meet some friends of my humans. I liked them a lot
Apparently something special was happening back at home so my humans tied a lot of colourful pieces of material together and pulled them up the mast!

I thought they were very pretty and tried to catch each one as they went up but I was told off so went away and sulked - humans can be so boring

Yesterday we left Kioni as it was soooooo busy. Luckily there was some wind so we didn’t need to use the noisy smelly engine much.
After making sure some other boats in the distance weren’t going to be a problem

I decided to lie in a different place to my usual sleeping spot but my humans moved me to put my buoyancy aid on as they were worried I may fall off

I think it was really because one of them wanted to sleep in my new place

We stopped off in a bay for a swim and I jumped off the boat into the water to join them for the first time! This picture was when I was thinking about it but my humans didn’t get any action photos #can’tgetthestaff

Anyway, we’re now anchored in a brilliant bay called Vliho. There are lots of other boats here and we went to a restaurant last night where I did some brilliant barking at cats What I find huge fun is dozing off under the table attached to one of my humans’ legs by my lead, then waking up with a start to find a cat nearby so I launch myself at it barking loudly. The human I’m attached to is always really grateful and mentions rope burns a lot

Today we’re going to move just a little bit to a place called Nidri and meet some different friends which will be brilliant fun and I’m really excited about it

Good morning from Vathi, Meganissi, it’s brilliant here ☺
This is me on my naked comfy place. It feels a bit odd without the cover but it’s still comfy

We’ve been here since Wednesday and the most brilliant news is my BFF Frizo was here for two of the days I like him A LOT We had lots of chasing games and swims

but his humans took him away yesterday morning which made me sad

We’ve been for long walks to different beaches

And down dirt tracks

We played hide and seek once. I found a brilliant place and my humans had no idea where I was

One of my humans thinks these buildings are interesting but I don’t see why as there’s no food, cats or dogs in them Although the last one did used to be something to do with olives.
I’m not allowed to eat olives

When we go out in the evenings for my humans to forage for food I sometimes lie under the table doing a passable impression of being A Very Good Girl

There was a pretty sky here last night

I think we’re moving on today as my humans need to get something to try to fix one of the water tanks which caused lots of things inside the boat to get wet. So they spent most of yesterday sorting out cupboards and drying things on deck.
I was very bored

Never mind, today is going to be brilliant as we’re going somewhere new

Good morning from the absolutely brilliant Port Atheni, Meganissi

We’ve been here for two nights and it’s been so much fun! Well apart from when I was stung on the foot by a wasp, that part wasn’t fun and I was a bit sad for a while

Yesterday we went to a brilliant beach where there were lots of people. My humans thought I might not be very well behaved because it was so busy, but I only tried to jump all over one person, and that was only because they looked nice and were holding some food that they clearly wanted to give me, so that was completely fine sadly my humans disagreed - humans are no fun

On the way here we saw these MASSIVE boats

Yesterday was very hot

So when we got back from the beach one of my humans rigged up a fan to cool me down.

I think I’ve outgrown this bed
It’s a good thing there are other beds for me to use which aren’t needed for anything else

Today we’re going to a place called Lefkas which will be brilliant because my BFF Frizo will be there and we will have lots and lots of fun

Hello everyone, from Preveza on Lefkas!

I had a brilliant couple of days in Lefkas town with my bestest boat buddy Frizo

This is moonrise over Lefkas marina, near where we were parked

Unfortunately our humans decided to take the boats in different directions yesterday so I might not see Frizo for a while - humans can be so selfish

While we were in Lefkas we had a brilliant walk though the back streets

We liked these pretty decorations. One of my humans sometimes makes things like this.

After we left Lefkas town we drove really slowly with some other boats through a narrow bit of water called a canal and a floating bridge opened up as if by magic to let us through! My humans didn’t take any pictures of it though because they are rubbish

Anyway. We had a brilliant sail after going through the canal.

It was very exciting

When we got here we parked between some other boats again and I made friends with the neighbours

Later one of my humans started twanging away on the wooden thing he calls a guitar. It must be exhausting though

Later my humans took me to forage for their dinner with some different friends. We went to the place where they all know the owner and he feeds me chicken souvlaki. It was totally brilliant! I was so excited to see him I almost knocked him over!
It was such a brilliant day I went straight to sleep on deck when we got back to the boat

Today we’re going somewhere different again and it’s going to be totally brilliant because we will be mostly anchored in bays and there will be lots of paddle boarding and swimming and going to a beach in the tender I’m really excited

Good morning everyone from a totally brilliant but top secret destination

This is me keeping a lookout just after leaving Preveza

Soon we were able to turn the noisy engine off and put up one of the sails

At that point I lost interest

We dropped the anchor behind an island near a town called Vonitsa and went for a brilliant run in the woods (no bears but I found evidence that humans do the same in them) and I had a lovely swim

Later my humans cooked some meat on a strange hot thing

In the rain! Humans are very odd.

Later there was a pretty sky while I was watching the fisher folk lay their nets

The next day we slowly sailed north to the harbour we’re in now. It took so long I thought we were never going to get here! Are we there yet??

There were boys jumping into the harbour from the quay so I decided to join in. We all had brilliant fun!

Then there was a storm

And later we went for a walk on the old tracks next to the harbour with my humans calling me between them from one end to the other. It was brilliant fun
Later they went foraging for dinner and were given gavros (any small fish fried) and calamari. I tried one of each and they were very yummy

This is the lady who cooked their dinner for them

This is me looking for the ferocious Labrador eating sea monster my humans have seen several times . They called it a turtle but as I don’t know what one of those is I’m going to assume the worst and be on my guard.

We’ve done lots of brilliant paddle boarding and I really love it

Just after that last picture I jumped into the harbour as the boys from the day before had returned and were jumping in again!
My paddle boarding human said some words I didn’t understand when I did this - I assume they were words of encouragement - but I ignored her because I wanted to swim with the boys again.
Yesterday evening there were horses on the beach

And the sky was really pretty

It was pretty again first thing this morning when I needed a wee

Apparently there’s a lovely walk to the lighthouse my humans have been on before, and we tried to go down the path but it was too overgrown and muddy

Today we’re moving to another totally brilliant place and I’m hoping there will be a nice beach I can run on as this one is just mud and my humans don’t let me on it .

Hellooooo from a very hot and boring boatyard !
One of my humans told me I must write another post as it’s been nearly a week since my last one
Sorry but I’ve been having such a brilliant time I completely lost track.
We went to a totally brilliant bay for a few days where all we did was swim and paddle board and run on the beach and eat and drink, but they didn’t take many photos
This is me patiently waiting for my human to take me to the beach on the board one morning. She’s so slow

In the evenings I watched the fisher folk lay their nets

I played with my toys

And one day it was so hot that I even lay on the cooling mat I’ve been avoiding ever since it arrived. It was brilliant

A couple of days ago my humans put the tender and the board away

But I helped tie the board down

and then we returned to the place we had found the boat nearly two months ago.
Some nice humans helped mine tie us alongside in a boat park, we all got off and then a HUGE machine lifted our boat out of the water!
I was a bit worried as I didn’t know how I would get to my dinner, toys and bed
But they took me to a big grey parcel

And when they unwrapped it it was the mobile kennel we had driven here in!
Which was a brilliant surprise

While my humans started moving things from the boat to the mobile kennel I quickly remembered it and made myself at home

When we were in it before I wasn’t big enough to jump up here and now I am! My humans think it’s brilliant because I can jump up here numerous times a night and as you can see there’s plenty of room for one of them too

The last couple of days have been really boring because they’ve been outside in the heat working on the boat a lot and I’ve had to stay in the air conditioned motor home, sleeping .
Today we had lunch with the lovely @MollyA and Simon. I like them a lot . The humans talked and talked for AAAAGES and I was a Very Good Girl but eventually, after a couple of hours, I got bored and restless so they decided to go back to working on the boats. Apparently drinking beer makes them not very keen on doing that
This is one of my humans working very hard this afternoon

Anyway, they’ve told me that tomorrow we’re going to drive to a different place to start another adventure!
I can’t wait! It’s going to be totally brilliant

Hello again everyone!
It’s been a busy and brilliant few days so I’ll tell you what’s been going on.
First of all we drove to a brilliant place next to a lake near a town called Veira and I did some swimming but it was weird because the water wasn’t salty. I really liked that water and didn’t need to be washed off again afterwards!

The next day was a bit boring but we went into a different country called Bulgaria which was exciting!
There was a long queue of lorries which we overtook then we came to this

and my humans had to show someone their passports and other things. I was a bit disappointed that the man didn’t want to see my passport too but he made cat noises at me, which was funny!
The lady in the next kennel didn’t want to see my passport either and the next man wanted to look inside the mobile kennel but I defended it and shouted at him so all he did was take a quick look from outside I was very brave.
When we stopped next time it was near a place called Golemo Buchino. There was a field behind our spot and I went for a really brilliant run around in the long grass. There were lots of different and interesting smells!

Later a man and some sheep arrived so I shouted at them from the van because I wasn’t allowed to go and play with them humans are no fun

my humans cooked some meat on this hot thing again and the man who owns the land arrived and sold them some wine and honey.

It was cooler overnight so if I hadn’t got them up several times as I had a bit of an upset tummy, we would all have slept well .
The next day we drove north to a very odd little place in a village called Stanevo.

We saw lots and lots of fields full of these pretty flowers on the way. Apparently they’re called sunflowers
The last few miles of roads to it were really rough and my driving human was swerving all over the place trying to avoid the worst of the holes
It was worth it when we got there though as the owners had three dogs and we played and played for ages until I was tired which was totally brilliant

Unfortunately my tummy still wasn’t behaving so we had another disturbed night despite having the air con on.
Yesterday we crossed a bridge over a MASSIVE river called the Danube. This is the best picture my human could get of it as we went over humans are rubbish.

Half way across the bridge we entered a different country again! This one is called Romania

Before we arrived at the bridge there were miles and miles of lorries in a line.

My humans said they were queuing to go through the border but we were allowed to overtake them, like we did at the other border. When we got to the place where the passports had to be checked they didn’t want to see mine again, and they were very nice but didn’t make cat noises this time . Nobody wanted to look inside either so I didn’t have to shout at anyone.

We drove for a bit longer then stopped next to the river to have lunch. Bulgaria is on the other side of the river. It was very hot so I was happier inside on my cooling mat

Further on down the road my human took another picture because she said the country on the other side of the river was now Serbia. I can’t tell the difference and between you and me I don’t think she can either

Finally, after a little bit more driving, we arrived at this brilliant little campsite called Camping Mala.

It’s really interesting as there are several people here in a combination of huts, little tents and a couple of vans, but it’s quiet. There’s a MASSIVE grey mobile kennel with five dogs in it. I made friends with them but we aren’t allowed to play off the lead which I was a bit sad about

Anyway, apparently we’re heading further north today. I think we’ll still be in Romania tonight, but we will see. It might be Hungary
It’s going to be absolutely brilliant wherever we are

Helloooo from a brilliant (if damp) Germany!
I know, I’m sorry it’s been such a long time since I last posted but my humans won’t let me on the iPad - humans can be very selfish - something about needing it to research the next places, routes and finding a V E T ( I have to spell that word out because my humans don’t like going there as it always hurts their bank balance) to give me some kind of tablet.

So, where did we get to? Ah yes, the brilliant Camping Mala in Romania.
The next day we drove to Hungary. We were supposed to be staying another night in Romania but the place wasn’t very good when we got there so my driving human decided to drive a little bit further into Hungary. Which is a coincidence because I’m like that all the time
After going through the border - nobody was interested in me AGAIN -

and seeing lots of storks on their nests

we stopped at a place called Camping Makó which is next to a river so I thought we would have some brilliant swimming and stick throwing, but the river was down a very steep bank so we couldn’t get to it. I was very sad and refused to sit still for pictures.

Although I couldn’t go swimming we did have some really brilliant ball chasing games in another disused part of the campsite, and I met something called a hedgehog for the first time! It was snuffling around in some leaves and I didn’t know what it was so sniffed it and it curled up into a prickly ball - it was a good thing my human dragged me away at this point or I may have got a spine in the nose!
We met some lovely people who I liked a lot and we spent the evening with them. Sadly they were heading in a different direction to us
The next morning we drove to Lake Balaton as my navigating human had read that one of the sites - Camping Mirabella- had a beach and hoped it would be suitable for me to swim in. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case as dogs weren’t allowed on the beach or in the water, and the site was a lot bigger than we had realised, so it wasn’t a brilliant spot for me - I wonder if I should sack the navigator as she hasn’t done very well finding good places for me in the last couple of days

However the next place was brilliant so I’ve forgiven her
After nearly making an unscheduled entry into Croatia (I told you my navigating human is rubbish) we went into Slovenia - there was no border control here which surprised all of us.
We drove into the northern hills of Slovenia - which are really pretty - to a site at a winery. The motor home parking used to be a tennis court so it was lovely and level and enclosed by a high hedge and fence I couldn’t get through l, although obviously I tried . There was no swimming but very pretty walks into the village, and lots of room for me to be off the lead and play ball and toy chasing games

We went for walks and found a little church

and some vines - lots of vines!

We stayed here two nights as my driving human had a headache and didn’t want to drive, but I didn’t mind as it was brilliant there! Apart from the Very Loud thunderstorm on the first night when I was scared and had to sleep with my humans.

When he felt better we left and headed towards Austria. Apparently they needed to buy lots more human food and wash their clothes as we’re going somewhere called Off Grid for a few days. I don’t know which country that‘s in But I expect it will be brilliant!

The next place was on the banks of the Danube again but this time I could go in for a swim, so that was totally brilliant!

We are now at the place called Off Grid although I’m a bit confused because apparently there are lots of places called this all over different countries, and we will be visiting some of them on the way home.

It‘s a really brilliant place here as it’s a big grassy area where I’ve been having lots of ball chasing games The only down side is it’s much colder here and it was raining a lot yesterday

But that’s ok because if I’m cold at night I just jump onto one of their beds when they’re asleep and make myself at comfy

I’m not sure which country we will be in tonight, but I expect it’ll be totally brilliant

Good evening everyone!
We’re back home now but I need to tell you all about the last few days of my brilliant Adventure
The next place called Off Grid was an archeological park and it was totally brilliant! There was a pond too but I wasn’t allowed to go in for a swim, something to do with frightening the ducks - humans are so unadventurous
We walked around the ruins in the evening and it was really interesting

The next day we found another place called Off Grid between a canal (we like canals because there are usually nice walks along the towpaths) and a river of the same name - the Marne.

The following day we went to another totally brilliant canalside place - this time it was the aire at Banteux which we had stayed in on the way to Greece in late April.

We stayed here for two nights because on the second day we had to visit the V E T so I could have a worming treatment, otherwise I wouldn’t have been allowed back into the U.K. which we would all have been very sad about .

After the two nights here my driving human decided we should pop over the border into Belgium for a night, just because . So for our last night away we headed for another place called Off Grid, an hour’s drive from Calais.

This is the last picture of my brilliant Adventure - with my driving human getting onto the train which goes into a big long tunnel and pops up in the U.K. like magic at the other end!

I showed my brand new Greek passport to the person in the cage so they would allow me to get on the train and everything was fine, totally brilliant in fact

We are all just a tiny bit sad to be home but apparently it’s only a few weeks until we head back to the boat again so that’ll mean more brilliant Adventures

It's been an epic adventure!

I‘m glad you enjoyed my brilliant Adventures
We’re going back again in early September but I don’t think I’ll do another thread.
Don’t worry, the injection doesn’t hurt. Ash is lovely and will take good care of you.
If your humans have time, and we are at home, perhaps we could have a doggie mini meet when you’re here? I love making new friends and we’ve got a nice big garden to play in!

Hi Honey,

Just a little up date my humans took me out yesterday they told me we were going to the seaside which was kind of correct but on the way the stoped off at the vets in Tenby and Joe the vet gave me an injection called a rabies jab I was OK, I was going to give you a shout but my humans said it was a dirty day and didn't want to get wet.

I can see that you and your humans have been busy on your travels last week and understand you are getting excited as I hear your going on your travels again have a great time.
