No, Tilly is tucked up in her bed after a long walk this afternoon. We should have been there, but had to cancel once I had the date for my operation. I so wish we were there, it looks great, thanks for all the photos everyone x
Hope the operation goes well .

Garry, that is a lovely cat... can see why you so proud of her.

Had the most enjoyable weekend and met some new friends very happy to meet you all! And haven't laughed so much for ages especially with Ray. Thanks guys :) till we meet again.

Fist thing this evening was the quiz, thanks Gerri (y)

you clearly didn't pick up on the truffle bribes, or worse you didn't tell the chief score checker Ron o_O

anyway we didn't win, but it seems second place celebrate more than the winners

Go Gerri, my suggestion to John and Griff or whichever gets the managers post for a band name is the Gee Gee's (y)

Brilliant as ever Ger, loved it my sunshine :):) (ask me about the sunshine bit, better still ask Geraldine, that will teach you for chucking books at us for requests):LOL:

Possibly my final post on this thread, so a massive thanks to anybody that had any part in the weekend

Popeye Griff and Jacqui for allowing us all into your county

Sandra and Colin, Phil, Cliff and Ger for all the set up, the man in the caravan for the marquee (y)

Debs xx for the idea and bullying to get it going, if only it could have been different my love, next year we will be back with similar enthusiasm and memories, celebrating what might have been

night night

I can only echo what has been said before.......... what a great meet this has been. To finally meet @Popeye was an honour (I think:LOL:) and a huge Thanks goes to him, his crew that helped set up and run the gig and all the Funsetrs that made it such a blast.

We can only echo what has already been said, meets like this might be put on by a few hard workers(y) thanks all you know who you are, but they are made what they are by everybody, thanks everybody.

Thanks to David for taking over the photographer position from Joy @movan great job with the photos but not as easy on the eye:LOL:

Ooo nearly forgot, great to see some newsies enjoying their first FUN meet and getting right into the spirit;)

Martin ans Jen

Just browsed the photos and thought @DavidG58 had got off lightly so a little reminder of that Burley walk and the revised route as selected by David himself down "Muddy Lane", without wellies!

The reason the image is a bit shakey is because the camera man, Bev, Jacqui and the 2 dogs are laughing too much.:ROFLMAO:

A big thank you to Popeye and helpers for a wonderful weekend at the New Forest meet. It was obvious that a lot of hard work and effort had gone into this event. It was nice for me to finally put some faces to forum names. Again, great weekend and good support for the charities.

Home safe and sound . Thankyou all for a grerat weekend especially the crew who organised it all. One of the best Fun rallies i have been to. Love all photos that have been posted.

This was our first outing in 'white blob bus' and Hannah and myself could not have been made to feel more welcome. What a lovely bunch of people from all walks and life and backgrounds and not a hint of my vans better than your van, in fact quite the opposite and plenty willing to offer advice and hints to get the best out of our van. Loved the idea of raising money for charity without any pressure as clearly bribing with truffles or not supporting the welsh contingent gets you nowhere ....

A big thank you from us two for what was a fantastic Funster weekend(y) We met some old and new faces which is always good and had a great laugh in the marquee every night:)

Would we do again? Definitely

Finally home, safe and sound! This was definitely a 'Carlsberg' weekend.. (probably the best rally in the world!)
Massive thanks to everyone who made it happen and those who came and supported it. I was definitely in 'blonde' mode this weekend having forgotten nearly everything of importance (except the wine, obviously!) so thank you to Jackie and Griff for taking me to Lyndhurst to sort a costume! Also thanks to Ger for letting me muscle in on her act last night, it was fabulous fun! As for @swanseajack13 , its never to early to start the bribery attempts for the next quiz...
And my final thanks should go to Ron's daughter Zoe, for NOT going into labour and spoiling the best weekend of the year!

Well, what a rally to be on for our first one! Thanks to Popeye, Jackie, Gerri for the quiz, Ger for her great singing (never heard THAT version of 'Alice' before :Eeek:) and ukelele (now where's that one I've got in the cupboard?), Armytwowheels and absolutely everyone who helped. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Great atmosphere and lots of laughs - here's to the lovely people we met and the lovely people we didn't.

Will post a few pics of Funsters.
