Rally Chat That Dammed Illusive New Forest Meet

@Popeye where's me 3p gone? :)

What 3p Paul?

......oh nurse Jax, check his man cave for Alcohol or his head for abrasions just in case he's had a fall or something. Then put him to bed with a large whatever (Drambuie or Sloe Gin in my case.) then mop his brow and give into any of his demands. He'll feel better in't mawnin'

Just arrived home after the New Forest Bash:hot: (we deviated to Bath and Cardiff after leaving New Forest).
Got to say we had a goooooood time, with plenty of the alchofrolic stuff.:drinks:
Great to see some good friends, and to meet a few new faces.:sun:
Our thanks to Paul & Jaquie for organising the event, and to the Marshalls (Sandra, Colin, Phil )::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

@Popeye you know there was over a grand and 3p in the kitty so if it is any less you will have dipped in to it and the FUNSTERS police will be around ray xx lol still lol a penny for your thoughts ha ha who loves you baby

I know reading Ray's gibberish is tough at the best of times but I totally agree with the Old Git when he says this. Oh and Ray, I was the first kicked out of the fancy dress, I asked them to so that you might win!
You weren't in fancy dress, Griff............you always look that good.

If there is another New Forest meet count me in,
:imoutahere:

We would like to reiterate our thanks for all of you who put so much energy into organising/facilitating this weekend

A huge thank you

A little less Gin and a bit more accuracy with the lippy Bren..... or did Colin make you up.
It certainly looks like the kind of Jacket you wear most days in that special hospital. :h:

Bottle of Champagne up for Grabs here and I've been to the bank today and paid it all in, in the old days the Bank Manager would have scowled at me going overdrawn for such a bunch of ner-do-wells but he'd be smiling now, so before I pay it all out to the charities, guess the total £ amount.

You know I am right so just bring the bottle to Shrewsbury @Popeye and we can put it out of it's misery.

Maybe @DavidG58 can ask baby Jacob if he wants to have a go.
Always seems to win Guess The Bill when we play.

Had a quick chat with Jacob, after a review of the entries, he noticed a hole around £830, so with nothing more than youthful luck he picks that please

I think he is maybe into spread betting a bit too early  and it is rather early in the morning for thinking at just 2 months old :)

might get more swing with Popeye if I had asked Kevin baby Jacobs dog :)

I'm speechless at people's generosity, thank you to those that have donated.

I was determined no tears today!

NO you can not, but I will give you enough to round that 774 up to £1,000, that's from the Fun-Folk at the New Forest and a little extra form Jackie and me!

Hugs and so much admiration for the way you and your two have dealt with this dreadful blow... Griff

Time to put you Fun-folk out of your Misery, we collected a grand total of £641.31 which I was gobsmacked at. Then I read your guesses and didn't feel quite so impressed.

So the winner is the first on the list........... @DavidG58 .

Honestly David for a while it looked as if John @Baycott would win until my darlin' wife pointed out that we had not paid our £37.50 so it took the total to £642 with s few extra pennies.

This sum is going to be split three ways.

Fighting Myasthenia Together receive ...£200.00

The Critical Care unit, Debs will receive ..£226.00 to make their total raised £1000

Katie Brown will receive Amazon gift card ..£242.00 as she has been let out of Hospital for the weekend after 57 days in hospital. Thank you @Carol for the idea.

I know that adds up to a bit more than the total but can you think of a better way to spend a few bob.

David you were too late with the gooey picture because I can't stand dogs anyway .....

......and you won it fair and square too....

I wish I was a smart a*se - clever clogs, know it all, like @DavidG58

At least it made a change from Jacob winning.

Not that I'm a bad loser....

Just sayin
