Really sorry you can't make it @peterc10 , both Ron and myself have suffered similar in the recent past and so you have our sympathies! Can't wait to see everyone, although we are NOWHERE near ready to go. Have to say I'm really pleased with the quiz for this meet, just hope everyone else is!

Despite the banter @peterc10 we are disappointed that you can't make it. Dawn was looking forward to meeting up with you both again. Even stocked up with decaf tea.......

@swanseajack13, Ray, Gerri sets the questions, but (a big but) I do the marking!!!! and I being a fine upstanding southern (London) gentleman am of course open to bribery and corruption !!!!! lol, still lol, ha ha ha

@ROB1CHELSEA1 my best mate ron the marker will put double the point down for me due to my minder @Silkcut1105 and the phone call to ron the marker ray xx lol still lol hard to hold a pen with ones arm in plaster ha ha
 
@Carol the whole Chester rally was great but I do not think you seen money changing hands on the day of the quiz and before the result was announced @Popeye was at the top table to get the cup ray lol still lol I like to play fair but need to know what price you have ray ha ha
 
@Barclaybasher, Vic, sirry to say Joy can't make the rally - her van has now broken down not just the fridge! She has had to call out the recovery firm and they can't look at the problem until today and she was due to leave on Sunday. Joy has limited internet access at the moment so hence the lack of a post.

And I agree about the Chester quiz - we woz robbed!!!!!!

bad news here, we might be delayed and arriving later than we thought today, I'll let you know later. Good news is I've made 2 lemon drizzle cakes and a pavlova.

Got a trapped nerve in my back which is agony, so I'm high on pain relief, should go nicely with Roberts rum:confused:

This sounds like it is going to be a riot. We are sorry we can not be there. And we hope Joy gets her van back on the road. She does not have much luck. Well funsters have fun. But who is going to take the photos now that Joy is not there.

Such a shame @movan wont be making it I was looking forward to saying hello.

Well I have just had my lunch at work and waiting for 4.30 to come and I will be on my way. Sandra is coming here so we save some time and avoid some traffic.weathers great here at moment I assume the Forest is the same.
 
It seems @Mousy isn't going to be the only one arriving later than expected! We were doing so well , eta 14.30, so decided to stop for a bite. And then realised that we had forgotten the batteries for the bikes! Finally managed to get my son to bring them in our direction (he's about as much sense of direction as kangaroo at the north pole) and we are again en route. Eta now 16.30. By which time we may be speaking to each other again....
 
Of course, THIS isn't helping, imagine, 50 animals, that's a lot!

We are running late too. It's taken us 3.5 hours to get to M27 services :Eeek::Eeek:
Traffic has been nose to tail the whole way. :crying:

We have just left there and are stuck in the same traffic! Give us a wave!!
 
We have been stuck in terrible traffic too but are flying along now. ETA another hour, hope that marquee isn't too chilly as we've got the heater and half the Chinese raffle prizes in the back:eek:
