Well, this is a meet I would have liked to go to, @Popeye it matches with my birthday or just about. Unfortunately my weekend is booked in Paris where my lovely daughter lives, and of course I'm very happy to spend some time with her (I better think about booking the plane BTW)..... But I'll be thinking of you all. Such a nice way to put a face to a name!

Hi Frankie, Dave & Jay have told me that I wouldn't get my Motorhome in your driveway as it is too large. So you'll have to ditch your daughter and come to the new forest instead. Xx griff
 
If Howie and Kath's motorhome can park in front of the house, and if Old Mo's huge motorhome WITH trailer (@old-mo and I can tell you my garden does remember them all LOL!) can get into my garden , any other can . I borrowed my dad's chainsaw , as at the moment it has grown a bit and I have to cut a few branches , but it's only softy ones!!

Back home with a 'proper' internet connection, so £20 sent by internet banking to the account of Mrs G., as specified.
 
Just a reminder,the outbrake of Alabama rot that is caught by dogs WAS quite prevalent in the New Forrest some time ago. I don't know what the situation is now but make sure that you check the present situation online and check your dogs for ticks after each walk. Also make sure you have the correct tick removing tool as just pulling them out leaves the head behind and causes inflamation.
This is not a DIRE warning,just to let you know to be careful,as we all love our animals.

Thank you @FrankCoffi I did put up a lot of info in the first post on page 5 it reads like this.........

Seeing Maddie has reminded me of the Alabama Rot discussions. It has now been confirmed that this unexplained Disease has been reported from almost every county in the UK and in particular in Wigan and the Greater Manchester area.

It has been reported in the New Forest also but probably because of the huge number of Dogs that are walked daily in the New Forest. The reports have been on the decline since 2012 and are minute when compared to the number of dogs being exercised there daily.

I have just Googled "Alabama Rot" and sure enough the reports seem to be coming in from across the UK.

I thought it important that you dog owners should be aware.

 
Sorry Popeye,obviously I didn't read the whole thread as I should have,I just wanted to look out for the dogs. I always check on any areas that I am going to visit and I used to go to the forrest a lot,as we only live a few miles away,but where my dog is concerned I don't take any chances.I guess that I panicked.Sorry.
 
@Jamwitt ..... Not sure about arrival time with rallies on a c&cc site, not sure if @Popeye asked? But as I think you know 1 is the norm for them...

The safest place for Malt to be kept is probably @cruiser 's drinks cabinet.....
