Breaking my own self imposed ban for a day or so, but here goes.

Really sorry to read your post, but I hope you'll be sticking around old-mo

Sometimes (and I do mean only sometimes ;) ) your threads take the edge of my day. I would miss this and so would many others I'm sure. Love to you both.
I know the pain you are going through today :h:

So sad to hear Mo. Never met you but enjoyed your posts. Stay safe my virtual friend and post when you can. I'm sure the whole clubs thoughts are with you.

A sad day indeed, but you have to do what is right for you a Judy.

Possibly one of the hardest threads I have ever had to post...

We are definitely calling it a day.... The trip to Devon was the straw that broke the camels back... What ever I did, setting up putting the ramps under, hooking up the EHU, taking the "A" frame off the toad all took there tolls on me... Judy was adamant that she did not want to get rid of the van and toad...... but this trip soon made her change her mind...

Both of us had to decamp this morning and get the "A" frame connected...

Got home and had to spend 4hrs on the bed with Oxygen pumping away...

Had over 40 years of lovely camping experiences, and 14 great years with R.V.O.C and Motorhome fun.. And met some brilliant folk, and a few miserable sod`s.. went to many great rally`s and meet`s... so have plenty of memories and photo`s to look back on...

I wont say see some of you around, cos that is unlikely to happen... :frowny::crying1:

My apologies to DiggerJon for not spending much time with you at Stoke Gabriel, but I think you understand why... Hope you have a lovely meal with your relatives, Jon... :drinks::hugs:

Well that`s it........... The DEFINATE end of an era.. :crying:

I have an appointment with the Doc to talk over the COPD and Emphasemia.... I know what the outcome will be and is.. (Google is a wonderful search engine.:giggler: )

I will pop in when I can to keep an eye on you and see who is visiting Coventry...

You have worked for and built up a fantastic club Jim, keep up the good work...

I know you don`t like these sort of posts, so sorry... Jim.... :hugs:

Please be good to Jim, it may help his hair grow...

Love, Cuddles, Kisses to you all... :*:*:hugs::drinks: As said I will pop in to see what you are all up to now and then...

Best Regards..
Maurice, Judy & Daisy..
Wish you well Maurice, like many others we have never met but please stay on here and keep us entertained with your jokes, as bad as they are.

Really sorry to hear you are giving up motorhoming but understand you need to concentrate on your health and getting better. As a life member you don’t need to leave MHF and you can’t, your jokes have had Dee and me in stitches and even though we have never met you I feel as though we have and had our weeks brightened up by you.
Don’t forget there are many here that hang on your every word, I just didn’t realise there was so much rope hanging about 😈😈😈😈😈. keep the jokes coming when you can and relish in the fact that you can drive people mad just with 2 fingers on a keyboard !

Sorry to read your news...

I've never met you but feel I have met you and enjoyed a drink together!

Keep on the forum and entertain us with your jokes....

You can join the select group of unwashed non motorhomers on here just above the static caravan owners!🤣🤣🤣

All the best James

A sad read Maurice but that's life I suppose, then reality kicks in, it's a difficult decision but the right one. 🙁
Everytime we see a tea urn we will think extra special Old Mo 😁 fond memories You and Judy take care. 🙂
If we are near I will give you a shout. 😁 Bob and Janie.

So sad to hear your news old-mo ,it will come to us all and at least you have some great memories.
Keep posting your jokes to annoy everyone  (y)

Health and happiness come first, so you’re right to think about making changes to ensure same.

I don’t know about you, but I visit the forum pretty much every day, especially when not away in the MH, as it’s great escapism and keeps the dreams and memories alive. As others have said, there’s no need to ditch the forum as well, just when you might need the support most.

Maybe turn up the oxygen concentrator another notch and make yourself comfy with MHF. It might just help you to maintain that sense of positivity. Who knows, you might even think of a few new jokes while you’re at it!

Take care Mo.

So sorry to hear this. We have met only a few times but you left a very good impression on me. Please don't stop visiting the forum, you would be greatly missed. Your jokes really do cheer me up.

Good luck with the medical stuff I know nothing about that, so all I can do is wish you the best and keep my fingers crossed for you.

Take care the both of you.

Sorry to read that, but what has to be done needs to be done.

All the very best for the future.

such a difficult decision to have to make, you're two of the nicest and kindest people i have ever met, has been a privilege to know you and count you as friends, plus that beautiful daisy dog, just take care of each other..

.

We've never met but your popularity precedes you. I loved reading about your house moves and still think about the one with the railway carriage. I still can't picture it in my head though.

Don't leave the forum, you're not the only one on here to be motor homeless.

Keep your spirits up and enjoy your life xxx

Sad you have to give up the motorhome life. Only you two can decide and know what’s best for you both. But the money from the sale of motorhome will be good for a few weekends away to a B&B etc for you and Judy.
But you can still have a laptop and come on here for a social life and if you insist post a joke now and then for us.
Take care both of you. (y)

Sorry to hear this Mo. Have you considered tenting instead ::bigsmile: ?

Putting on the handbrake for the last time is a day that will come to most of us. Being a motorhomer should be a relaxing, fulfilling way of living, but we all seem to spend an inordinate amount of time under the chassis or bonnet! None of us wake up a day younger.

Keep posting Mo. I usually find a couple of laugh-out-louds in your jokes. I'd miss that.

All the very best, Dave.

Funster's special one is going to be missed.by all. No one can say you haven't tried to keep the happy times going for as long as you could. Best wishes to Judy and yourself. Margaret still hasn't seen anyone who could carry off wearing stockings with straight seams like you did, your meets have been missed for some time. You will always be in our happy time memories, take care and good luck. Margaret & Eddie.

around your old gaff in Spain.seeing as it was just a Finka when you bought it 👍
If its time to pull up the drawbridge on the camping its got to be.
Hopefully we'll have a laugh or a groan if your up to posting in between your rest's

Sorry you are having to give up motorhoming, but I really hope you will stay around on here and entertain us with your jokes.

I can't add much to the above. Sad but hope you do stay on here and entertain us for a long time to come. One thing I did notice and didn't need to resort to Google. Gina M said that she couldn't let her Mum laugh too much at jokes because of her COPD....so now we know why your jokes are as they are!

Keep on posting our world will be a lot poorer without you in it

Sorry to hear this ,but understand mate ,
Keep on the forum as and when you feel up to it
We will all miss your posts , even the jokes
Our thoughts and prayers our with you and Judy
Hugs from Terry and Ann

Mo, sad times indeed, wishing you and Judy all the best for the future and don't be a stranger.

And don't forget to keep posting what you call jokes:LOL:

Mo we will miss you but keep posting odd bits and jokes, don’t give it all up.
Look after yourself and love you both.

Sorry to read this Mo, but you have to make the right decisions for yourself and your family.
But like lots of others are saying, please don't leave MHF. All your years of camping/MH experience are very valuable and I'm sure will continue to be a help to those of us still on the road.
(At least - those of us on the road until we're all priced off of it!!! And then we may ALL be posting memories and good times. :winky: )
All the best for the next stage Mo. More good memories still to be made.

old-mo Very best wishes for the future and thank you for all your attempted humour.:LOL:

Take care

Keep in touch as health allows Mo. You deserve your lifetime membership.

Never got to meet you Maurice but loved your jokes and your many posts. You’ve got to do what’s right for yourself and Judy so on that note, all the best. See you on here when you feel up to it. 👏🏻❤️
