Well old-mo I must say it’s been a pleasure reading your posts the time I’ve been a member here and yes it’s a sad day when one must hang up their pride and joy.

For now all the best to you and your wife and just get yourself sorted and back on the up.

But as a side note, why not sell the van and toad and if funds are available look at a static, no ramps, no tugging a car about and your still having time away and with a static it’s all setup ready.

Even a caravan sited may be an option but what ever you decide best of luck and wishes to all.

I am another that you have not met, but you are part of MHF and we shall miss you.

We have heard others announcing retirement from MHoming but not doing it, however the tone of your post does sound final and it comes after trying to struggle on. And if Judy agrees that should settle it.

We shall miss you but please enjoy whatever openings other than MHoming come your way.

You often mentioned the TOAD.....as other funsters have..... it wasn't until last week I realised what it was. 3 years on the forum and I wondered what the hell is a TOAD

Yes take care. I know exactly what you are going through. My mum had COPD, I watched her struggle with her breathing. I daren't tell any jokes or make her laugh as she would have a massive coughing fit. I don't know you, but joking apart (see what I did there !) So sad for you Mo, it’s frightening when your body refuses to do what it always did in the past and my family lobbock me for visiting Dr Google .
I have several photos of the times we met up in Spain and the meets with RVs which remind me of the great fun and great memories and it’s so sad that it’s time for you to pack it in.
I too am losing my mojo, mainly due to health and as a result it’s unlikely that we will travel far in the future.

Sending you and Judy our best wishes going forward. None of know what is around the corner for us, reading between the lines, I am thinking that Judy was reluctant to sell so you had a reason to keep fighting. Now it sounds as if you have lost a bit of that fighting spirit that we are used to seeing on the forum. Please don’t give up your spirit along with the MH (selling that is completely understandable).
