Tests with costs for travel and how to get them

Crossed into France yesterday just in case. Now starting to think about the test for the tunnel, does anyone know how long the test in the french pharmacies take to do?

thanks
What test did you have before entering France and any checks on route? We leave Spain end of August and things will probably change by then again!

We’ve got our tests ready for departure Monday and others booked with a 2nd day test costing £35 each.

C19testing.co.uk for lateral tests £29 per test
expert-medicals.co.uk for 2nd day pcr test. £35 per test.
I have just looked at Expert Medical, could you advise what test you have booked (as I am looking to book mine before leaving for France on Friday) Below is a screenshot of the tests they offer- I am assuming that the test to book is the 2 day test from Green countries at £28? I appreciate France isn't green, but they do not offer a 2 day for amber (as this does not come into effect until the 19th) I didn't know if I had got the wrong end of the stick as I cannot see a £35 test? (I am not questioning what you have done, just merely asking as I am a bit confused and find the whole situation a but daunting)

Anyone have a link to the declaration form or can you pick one up at eurotunnel? TIA

For the return trip canyou just waltz into a French pharmacy to get the test there and then ? If so that might simplify things.

Go on eurotunnel website and click on COVID info. Links are there for the form you need to go and another form to come back

Can someone please tell me where all this money for tests is going is it private companies that sprang up over night with minister’s on the board of directors or is it me just getting fed up of the bullshit

That would be hilarious in most other countries :giggle:
reminds me of when first here & the girl next door calling for our daughter at 10,30pm to go out.Eventually it ended up nearer 11,30pm:giggle: first off the wife thought she was talking about going out in the morning.:doh:

We always kip in the afternoons or we'd be in bed by 11pm . And miss all the fun..
Oh and the fireworks that usually start at 11.30pm. 🥳

Post so I can find this thread again for reference!
