Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

Tam. Regarding the dog/puppy food, we had dogs when I was a kid many, many moons ago and they ate whatever was put down for them including scraps off the table and licking the plates and it never did them any harm. As long as you don't give them anything they shouldn't eat like cooked chicken bones or chocolate then I wouldn't worry about it. If they were wild they would eat anything, they are dogs after all.

Spanish Murray walker and the water boys have finally buggered off

The eagles dinnae sing like that lol

Nah, but this pair did! It was unintentionally funny - give them their due they'd have a go at playing almost anything, but everything came out sounding like Hotel California with different words!

I quite like it when someone does a cover of a classic song in a deliberately different style to the original and doesn't take themselves too seriously - although bluegrass is not my thing, I have to admire Handsome Hank & his Lonesome Boys for making that cover of Paradise City sound so good - especially as they are actually Swiss!

Ok - I should have said when someone does a *decent* humorous cover of a rock classic in a very different style! Hayseed Dixie, Lounge Kittens, Steve'n'Seagulls, etc. The Lounge Kittens (3 girls who do 1940's lounge music style versions of mostly 90's pop punk & rock/metal bands) even opened for Limp Bizkit at Sonisphere in 2014

William Shatner, jeeeeezzzzzz…………..

Shatner’s version of Common People is actually pretty good, partly thanks to Joe Jackson, and the fact that it’s a brilliant song to begin with.

William Shatner is brilliant. Have you seen Boston Legal with him in it? He and James Spader are hilarious.

Over the years i have had lime green, orange and red,,i don't care a shit what others think i love em,,not had a split toe for years either,,Got to be genuine CROCS though.BUSBY.
Got some black ones and also a lime green pair - bought the latter so that nobody would steal them when left outside the shower! Be very careful when the soles are worn smooth as they are lethal on wet slippery floors.

Our dog is not driven by food, but she loves her veg.
After her dog food supper she has slices of Cucumber, courgette, carrot and if there is any she loves cabbage/cauliflower or broccoli stalk, & apple.
She always looks hopeful when I’m prepping veg for our food too.

Yes jade has always liked veggies so I usually make extra so they have some too ,

Hi Tam... do you use tick and flea collars on your dogs? We are about to leave uk for 3 months in France, Spain and Portugal and not sure if they are necessary. Never used them in France before but this is the first time we have been further south into Spain and Portugal.

Regards

Chris

We use Advantix spot one. This takes care of fleas, ticks and sand fly, which are prevalent along the Med and which can cause leishmaniasis.

Sand fly are a type of mosquito by the way, and don’t live on beaches (which is what I thought for a while!). We also use advantix and also a Scalibor collar, as recommended by a Spanish vet.

I got a scalibor collar for jade last year while I was here ....I haven't done it this year which I maybe should have.

That said I've not seen any dogs here wearing them either ...not even the locals ones.

I'm only in Spain another few weeks then heading to south France. Jade gets a flea and tick spot on every 3 months and milo was done at the vets just before I collected him a couple of weeks ago so they should be fine.

That's my tap all fixed for now ...think the wires been dodgy for a while as it only worked on cold for weeks now and then broke altogether yesterday.

I've soldered it for now and I'll pick up a switch if I can

Cheers Tam.... will have a word with my vet before we go. Chris

These jetskis ...I mean I have to admit the first 5 minutes I watched them I thought that looks good fun ...then after 10 minutes of watching them go round and round and round I got a little bored

8 hours they've been doing it now and as enthusiastic as the start ....

They must have deep pockets then, not unusual for bigger engined jetski's to burn 8 gallon plus an hour, the supercharged ones way more!!

Have spent a very pleasant day sat in the sun with a young couple from Germany, a couple from Hungary and a couple from Finland. ...I forgot to eat and I'm now a little tipsy so I'm going to attempt to make dinner ha ha

Well your lucky sitting here in crook of devon looking out at snow so jealous :)
