Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

I think Irnbru's right - its a child's trailer.

The dog ones don't have a seat and have fixings at floor level - they also have a raised front. Can you take the seat out so they're sitting on the floor? You could then put a webbing strap or something from side support to side support to prevent them coming too far forward.

Jade growling at him, even her snapping at him is just her telling him to quit whatever he is doing at that moment. It is not the end of the world, she is just telling him that is not acceptable .
It's how pups learn, neither will bear a grudge and the next moment they will be best of friends again .
She has more patience than you!
Aye I'm aware of that but end of day I'd rather wait till I make it safer than risk him jumping out and getting run over

That trailer looks more like a kiddies one rather than a dogs.
It is a kiddies one I picked up and thought it would do the job . I tried it before with just jade and was fine but milo won't sit still so not sure if it will be any good or not.

The floor is just material at the minute so it would sag and touch the ground. But if I can get a piece of plywood to fit the base that might work with a couple of d rings attached.

I'm not giving up on it , I'll modify it to make it safer.

I have a dog one here Tam that I bought and have never even unpacked ( my old dog is still running about and this countryside is a tad hilly for me ).
Lots of people were using them on the coast near Almeria, they were frequently used for trips to the supermarket and collecting large quantities of booze as well as dog transport.
I bought mine from a large pet shop in Malaga.

Are ye selling it

Have found a couple of doggy ones on market place so I might just buy another if I can get a second hand one

I would be prepared to sell it but it would be new price, so if you have seen a good second hand one that might be your best bet (with you being a Scot ) .
But mine is here and available should you subsequently want it.

No idea what they are new ...found 2 on market place for €55 and €45 euro one Almeria the other nerja so I've sent them an enquiry to see if still for sale.

Shame I can't use eBay out here they aren't bad on there

I was looking forward to Lord and Lady Muck in their chariot!

I seem to remember mine was about €100 in the spring of 2017, so if either of the ones you have seen are in good nick , you would be making a good saving .
I seem to remember mine will carry up to 30 kgs so is also a lot bigger than you truly need.

I'm surprised at only 30kg the one in Almeria says 60kg but I'll see if he gets back to me

I can remember thinking both my dogs could fit in at a push (they weighed 15kg each at that time ) both being smallish collies. I will check it tomorrow in daylight and see what it says on the box.

It gets right up my nose when folk call us scots tight but I can see your a scot too , wanting full money for something thats unused but still 2nd hand and almost 2 yr old and no yrs guarantee.

But it's Tam that always states proudly he's 'careful ' coz he's a Scot and a fur lined thong. Me : I'm actually three quarters Welsh but was married to a Highlander for 18 years . I am a FLT when I'm on the move but live permanentlyn on a Spanish campsite when stationary.
I'm not sure what that makes me other than a ****mongrel.:D2

Hey @Northernraider what's this about a fur lined thong? Your secret is out now:eek: and how does Val know about it :rofl::rofl:

I hope you are not suggesting any impropriety @irnbru you know what Tam says he feels about older women and believe me: I definitely come into the "very much older woman" category

So here's some pics you don't normally get to see.

Sharon from the refuge sent these.
The first one is milo and his 4 siblings how they were found abandoned in a rubbish bin at 3 weeks old.

That's milo on the hi viz vest

And the 5 puppies at the refuge where Silvia hand reared them .....sadly only milo at the top and his brother Mitch the tan and black one survived

This little girl named them

And lastly milo and Mitch together

Mitch found a home but it didn't work out and he's back at the shelter.

It breaks my heart seeing them in that first pic ....I can't comprehend how people can be so cruel and it's heart breaking to know out of 5 only 2 survived .....Milo is such a loving and affectionate wee boy and his brother Mitch is gorgeous ....I'm tempted to have him too so he could have a good life but I fear it would be too much. ...but I hope he finds a family soon.

I know that my wee boy like his sister jade will be loved and spoiled like he deserves.

No animals should ever be treated that way

You are absolutely right Tam, no animal should be treated that way, it's totally barbaric and inexcusable. It's also quite beyond my comprehension why someone who is going to leave them to starve to death in a bin would dock their tails! Maybe so when they were found dead they would look cosmetically better? Sick ba****rd!
Thank you for posting those pics Tam, very shocking and saddening.

Sandra @Armytwowheels found two puppies in a paint can in a bin!!! B@stards!!!! Silvia took them in and they survived. One now lives in Spain and the other in the UK.

They do have tails or at least Milo and Mitch do just very little ones. Have those been cut do you think? I did think it was a funny little thing but just assumed it was cause he's a funny little thing too. But it never stops wagging so that's good

Why do the Spanish ditch so many dogs in bins?
Is it because they live in flats and aren't allowed to keep them?
You would have thought some are so desirable that they would be easily sold.
Does this happen so much in other EU countries, I know we have many over here rescued by the RSPCA, but surely not so many dumped in bins at such a tender age.
Who can help in answering this I wonder.

A big problem is they don't get them sterilized ...and they let them roam free so they end up with puppies and they ditch them.

Hope it doesn't scare the sh*t out of them - otherwise you'll be complaining in the morning as you clean up :D2...

Steak & a Horror Film - you'll give them nightmares .

They'll be ok, unless they rounded it off with a cheese board
