So my parking spot for a night...maybe 2

Nice and peaceful and nowhere as busy as the bit along the road. Nice walk along beach I let milo run free but he is that clingy he tends to stick by my side only going off now and then to chase jade ....Good thing is when I call one back they both come ....Jade doesn't go off as far ...but I did have a load of bits of bacon with me ha ha.

Nice video Tam, bacon treats are good but stop using the word "sit"for Milo ,it's just a repeated wasted noise for him to learn to ignore .Treat him for coming to call or whistle or make the click sound at any point you see him about to sit, then treat. Don't add the command until you already have the behaviour .

I'm gonna resort to the method I used with jade and put him in the sit and lie down position as she does it nae bother

He never sits ...he currently gas 2 positions
On 4 legs or on 2 trying to climb up me lol

It's shocking that sat here sunbathing I have to keep the 1 year old on a lead to stop her wandering off and scrounging at other vans but the 6 month old won't leave my side and is happy to just lie by my chair and relax.

I hope he stays like that and she learns that if she doesn't stay close she gets kept on lead.

He might, she probably won't , different characters, different start in life.
OK, as you put him in sit as his bottom goes down, click, reward. Repeat several times in quick succession.
He will realise a treat is coming and will start tryiing different actions to see which one triggers the click coz that sound always leads to a reward.

Well that's the 2nd morning without milo having an accident in the camper long may it continue. He has developed the habit though of using jade as stimuli lol so I take them out she pees and he pees on top of it ....problem is sometimes he doesn't wait till she's finished and pees on her leg or tail at times lol. And she don't move ....


Another thing I noticed here when walking last night. I visited this place twice last year once in April a few days after I had got jade and again on way taking her back to murcia in June to have her opp done.

In April there were little signs saying no autocaravanna...in June they had put up new big signs saying no autocaravanna.

Those signs have gone .....all of them there's no trace of them having been there ...and there's a bread van comes round in the morning.

So it just shows the police don't care about them being here at this time...It's almost encouraged but not allowed in season.


And that's why they create problems

Not had a spot of rain in Spain this visit ...compared to last year where I got quite a bit and lots of wind up till April.

It's gorgeous I'm out sunbathing. ..dogs are worn out from morning walk so I'm getting peace lol.

Not had a spot of rain in Spain this visit ...compared to last year where I got quite a bit and lots of wind up till April.

Cold and windy last year in March & April. Still Feb, 23° yesterday and 22° today. Sitting the sunshine with a beer trying to sober up after all the wine with lunch.

Ok well that was short lived and a fail. Jade wasn't too bad but milo the bum wpuldnt sit still and kept trying to climb out.

Not sure it's comfy or the safest at the minute. Sides are a bit wobbly with a puppy bouncing on them. I think the handle stiffened it up a bit but typically I never brought that bit as I figured I wouldnt need it.

Looks like We will just be walking and the bike will only be used by me to escape lol

A. Don't be so impatient
B. Anchor Milo in 2 places so he doesn't have so much movement
C. Break it down into sessions of a few minutes. First put them in, click, reward. Stand beside them, click reward again .
Then move a few yards repeat.
D.Play games, or go for a walk, finish by putting treats in the trailer and calling (putting ) them in to get their reward.
E. Being in the trailer has to be part of the fun, exciting game they enjoy playing with Dad.

I had it closed to start with but within 2 minutes there were 2 heads poking out.

I'll have to find a way to brace the sides first it's not the most stable if milo stands and leans on the side. Then he also jumps on jade and she started growling at him.

I'll try them again at roquetes de mar as I'll be staying there a week so I'll play around with it and see if I can make it safer.
Didn't want to risk him falling out and getting run over.

Jade didn't mind it I think she thought it was better than basket

Jade growling at him, even her snapping at him is just her telling him to quit whatever he is doing at that moment. It is not the end of the world, she is just telling him that is not acceptable .
It's how pups learn, neither will bear a grudge and the next moment they will be best of friends again .
She has more patience than you!
